If we miss out on Lebron, I'll be satisfied with J.J and Amare.

I will miss Lee tho.
Knicks Deny They Are Out Of LeBron Chase, Suggest Ulterior Motives
Jul 02, 2010 7:22 PM EST

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports went on the air with Michael Kay on ESPN Radio to discuss points he made in a story Wojnarowski published Friday.

In that story, Wojnarowski wrote that the Knicks had been virtually eliminated from the race to sign LeBron James and that James and his camp were unimpressed with New York's presentation.

Shortly after the segment with Wojnarowski, a representative of the Knicks called Kay to refute the Wojnarowski story and the claims made by his sources. Further the Knicks suggested that someone may be attempting to undermine their chances to sign James.

There have been rumblings in recent days that those closest to James are concerned about him playing for the Knicks and what implications there might be for the power balance around the superstar. There have been some indications that Maverick Carter, James' closest friend, is opposed to a move to the Knicks.

However, it is unclear who Wojnarowski is referring to since he cites only "sources" but does not indicate their position in relation to James or their particular knowledge of Thursday's meetings or James' reactions to the presentations he received.
Source: Wade Leaning Towards Bulls
Dwyane Wade is leaning toward committing to the Chicago Bulls, a source close to the situation told ESPN.com's Chad Ford on Friday.

Wade requested a second meeting with the Bulls on Friday, according to the source.

Wade needed to clarify issues around possibly joining the Bulls, according to the source.

The Bulls would need to clear additional cap space to sign two players to max contracts.

yo if we got joe johnson and amare and trade curry and chandler for parker i would be happy with that lineup... and i could honestly say the knicks had a good offseason and the 2 years of clearing space was worth it... i want lebron just as much as everyone else but i wouldn't just rely on getting him... the knicks would instantly be a top 4 team in the east maybe 3 with that lineup... they would be the east coast version of the suns

What are the two contracts that's being offered to Amare?

If Bron and wade sign to Chi, since Bron dont wanna go to Miami, and Wade don't wanna go to CLE

I say we sign Bosh & Amare...

btw

Rose-Wade-Bron

is not Fair !

this is either being done on purpose to build hype

or maverick carter is very insecure and lebron needs to kill the vultures

I don't get how any Knick fan would be satisfied with Joe Johnson and Amar'e.

I understand you guys have been a complete joke for the past decade but that duo reeks of mediocrity to me.

Especially if they both get max deals.

Wade doesn't wanna leave Miami, LBJ doesn't wanna go to Miami.  That pairing has too many obstacles to happen.

Well yeah they are trying to sabotage...remember what I mentioned about the media hating Dolan's media access policy. Media outlets are afraid that with LeBron joining the Knicks, they'll have restricted access to the person many people consider to be the best player in the league. When you look at it from that perspective, LeBron joining the Knicks is the LAST thing they want. Which is ironic because him coming to NY will increase any marketing opportunities he can get.

So Byron Scott became the head coach of the Cavs..... then CP3 says he wants to win now and not wait several years ?

o-O ??

see what i see

I'm not a Knicks fan but this is some bull the media is pulling right now. I haven't read a single positive article yet about the Knicks in this whole thing. %@!! has me kinda heated cause I've been pulling for the Knicks to turn it around for a while now, and every time I turn on ESPN or try to read some news to find out what's going on I can literally tell that they're trying to make them look bad. Now I see that Adrian Wojanowski dude was saying that LBJ's camp wasn't pleased with the "preparedness and organization" of the presentation....and that Lebron was turned off by Donnie Walsh being in a wheel chair for the meeting and James Dolan's appearance?? Come the %@$@ on. If I was a Knicks fan I would just straight up not listen to any basketball news for the next 2 weeks. Just turn the TV on to Sportscenter when Lebron has a press conference cause none of these dudes on TV are telling the truth right now.

Wade and Bosh both meeting with the Bulls right now with their agent (that they share)

If they signed up there, it would almost force LeBron here with Amare IMO.

QFT.

I wonder how Amare will do without the Phoenix Suns medical treatment? It's all speculation but if they drop big money on him and over pay Joe Johnson, it seems like another potential Knicks failure to me.

JA Adande just said something positive about the Knicks' chances at LeBron. He said if Bosh and Wade go to Chicago, it'd make NY a good option since we get more cap relief next season.

First positive mention of the Knicks I've heard so far.
