almost passed on these sneakers because of the Concords.. but copped them a while ago.. Quality is good for a new retro.. these shoes are too memorable for me to pass.. happy with my purchase

The quality is horrible on the XIV's. Glue marks all over the place and just like the IX's, you an tell the paint is going to chip off the front fingers.
They are one of the most comfortable air jordans no doubt.

Saw these at Footaction for the first time last week.
Quality is a joke.
The shape of the shoe is all awkward and fat, at least the pair that I saw was this way. The suede or nubuck, whatever they're using now, feels like it's going to rub right off if I kept touching it.
These are nothing like the originals I just sold off last year which is obvious.
Never had the last retro, but I can't imagine these are better in any way shape or form.

well.. none of the retros now a days are going to have the same materials as the OG. It's either a love or hate it thing.

You just have to check your pairs.. some look like trash with messed up suede and excess glue while some look good.. Its same as the Concords..
