I don't know, even after zooming in it still looks nylon to me.  I hope I'm wrong and you're right though.

Maybe the samples are nylon but the retail version is all leather??

Toe box looks nylon here.  Same material behind logo and on toebox

the tongue will not close over my foot and I'll be damned if I wear it split. 

this dilemma has saved me from the headache of GL3 releases

will be getting the Rudolph's from the CP for sure tho....

Some shoes close and some don't, flamingos and three lies close perfectly. While the rest of my GL3s will not close for me. Except my NYC ECP, but those are a 1/2 size bigger than the rest... So sizing up is an option as well...
