^just from comparison and also looking at mine, I'm a little thrown.
Re-release is might lighter and you can see the toebox pinch. Ugh. I'll see for myself when I get em in. Unreal. It's way lighter grey and less purple. But, Alvin's are Alvin's. OG or not.
I agree the RFheads just need to recognize that it's one of the most classic asics ever released and stop the hate.

what specifically makes the alvins garbage? I got mine yesterday and they look great. shape is on point and materials are good IMO. Not trying to be smart, just trying to get your feedback if you got a bad pair

Alvins are sick...One of my favorite GL3...
I prefer them with the white laces tho... I think dark grey ropes would be nice as well.
