which parts made you (or anyone else) cringe?
Skin-peeling, the part where the mom cuts her nails, Winona Ryder stabbing, basically every scene where her fingernails were bleeding

....lucky bastard

Just got back from seeing the film and it didn't disappoint. Portman/Kunis = Sexy as hell...

Spoiler [+]
I'm sure it's been discussed verbatim in here (I didn't go back), but Kunis in the film represented perfection that wasn't perfect...she smoked, drank, did drugs, partied, etc...and eventually was cast as Portman's understudy. I loved that angle. Anyways....it was a good film and the hype was warranted

Pregnant Natalie Portman has opened up about the physical and emotional demands of playing a ballet dancer in Black Swan, revealing she thought she may "die" during the intense training and filming.

The actress spent up to eight hours a day in dance rehearsals to make her portrayal of a ballerina believable - and even dislocated a rib during the shoot.

Petite Portman, who also shed 20 pounds for the role, admits she became so low while making the movie she felt near to death.

She tells Entertainment Weekly, "There were some nights that I thought I literally was going to die.

"It was the first time I understood how you could get so wrapped up in a role that it could sort of take you down."

But the movie did bring the actress double joy - she announced earlier this week she is engaged to and pregnant by choreographer fiance Benjamin Millepied, who she met while working on the film.

Great movie. I really can see the parallels b/n this and the Wrestler...lol basically the same movie sans the psycho trips.

Portman is gorgeous, a little to skinny for me but when she was on the bed pleasuring herself....hmmm....hmmm...hmmmm.

Amazing movie. Hadn't seen a single preview and got suckered in by some girls to see it because I was told it had a Lesbian sex scene with Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman. I was just expecting a movie about ballet but it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. The theater was dying of laughter when she started dry humping her bed and looked over and saw her mom asleep in the corner.

I think it was the choreographer for the movie, not the actual actor. Either way..
