Wouldn't b caught dead in the blue ones but the Black/Black colorway might be decent for the winter..

All the other Nike boots feel(and fit) like some total crap. Believe me, I bought the ones w/ just the Air Max heel Field Boots looking ACG NIkes.
Damn things were too damn hard.
But, I went back and bought another pair Goadomes. Comfort at its finest level. And I still own a fresh pair of 6" Wheats and a Pair of Tan and Green(Becuz I'm grown and be gotdamned if I call'em 'Mac & cheese
) field boots. Can't beat the Goa's.

why do we need carbonfiber on our boots?

The carbon fiber is featured on the foams for a reason. It prevents the shoe from bottoming out.

It would ruin the shape of the foam. It gives it its structure.
