FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Definitely feel you on the icy glass of milk with the pb&j. It goes so well together...

On the topic of milk, I always gotta have some with desert related baked goods like cake, pie, cookies... Almost can't have any without milk.

Hit up Levain the other day and marinated that Choc Chip Walnut joint in some organic whole milk.

It is literally the only time I drink cow's milk.

As for samiches, I don't care what kind it is. The bread getting toasted. And it will not be white bread.

I put more jam than I do peanut butter. I’ll slab the left over jam from my spoon on the peanut butter side. Also no preserves and I only do smooth peanut butter. None of that toasted bread **** either. And I like smashing my sandwich down before I eat it

Creamy peanut butter at a 2:1 ratio to strawberry jelly. Add that nice cold glass of milk to go with it, and you're set. Though I haven't had good milk in awhile, been cutting back on sugar, don't want to end up like some of the dudes in the Moments You Know You're Washed thread . Y'all would be surprised to see how much sugar there is per serving.

Grape JAM
chunky peanut butter
1 to 1 ratio
Bread don't matter as long as it's toasted I'm a grown man

Never cared for PB&J sandwiches… we actually had it for free at my school if you forgot your lunch at home or didn’t have money to buy lunch…

Lamb with fufu and pasta salad.

I never liked jelly. And any peanut butter that isn't super chunky isn't worth my time.

12 Million Pounds Of Beef Now Under Recall Over Salmonella Risk

Is it just me, or does it seem like things like this have occurred a lot more frequently in the last couple years than used to be the case? Off top, I can think of like 4 salmonella or e-coli outbreaks this year alone.

I had my own place at a very very young age & for like a year & half, I lived on pb&j, grilled cheese, ramen, cup of noodles, & chef boyardee. Hot dogs to.

Cooking ramen became an art like adding leftover white rice, maybe some kimchi, definitely an egg.

Splurging was having breakfast for dinner which consisted of eggs & some cheap meat like scrapple.

I’d also buy a sack of potatoes & some onions to fry in a pan.

It's happening more often. That's why you gotta buy good beef and chicken.

I see people sometimes change on their core with milk and meats. As I age on I peeping that about myself too

I'm VERY specific about my PB&J...almost need a 2:1 ratio of PB to jelly...arnold white bread, JIF, and smucker strawberry jelly. I'm worried about my sandwich tomorrow

Tuna...I drain the **** outta mine. mix mayo/horseradish with some relish in there. Maybe a sprinkle of dill if im feeling fancy. hahaha

When I use to eat tuna I would drain mine too. I forced it though. I even press down on it with a spoon until every bit of water is out.

^^^ I always assumed draining the water from the tuna was just the right way to do it. LOL. Who wants to eat some watery *** tuna? I also want it dry as possible before I add the mayo, etc.

I honestly don't eat any seafood besides Salmon. Maybe fried catfish here and there.
