Yea I could see that if he made the trip to the corner store for the water/chips but buying everything from Subway and only spending $2 nah. No chance.

there are a handful of good chinese takeout spots in san francisco where you can get a plate of garlic rice and two fried pork chops for ~$6 in 2023. terrible for your waistline, great for your wallet.

Dinner earlier at Diwan in Hicksville, NY for my brother's birthday. For apps samosa chaat, aloo tikki chaat & mixed grill. Main course I had the Chicken Badam Korma which is almonds/poppy seeds/chironji nut. The badam(almond) flavor was soo damn good with the chicken.
Badam in my cultures food is usually a flavor reserved for dessert & sweets never have I had it with chicken, it worked so well together. One of the best Indian dishes I've had in a long time. Highly recommend it. We also got palak paneer, Okra, paneer makhni & mixed naan.
Dessert was kheer & gulab jamun
. We ordered so much they had to wheel it out to us .
