Tried this last weekend...dudes said we had to spend 100,000 grand a yr and he could get us in etc...

Clubs arent owned by the casino he said
What casino/club was this?  Yes it does help to have a players card.  And it does help to have a high level players card.  I've gotten into lots of clubs over the years.  Like I said it never hurts to ask.
(Clubs I've gotten free admission or line passes for..  Surrender, Light, Jet, some club at Rio, Rain, Playboy Club, Rehab, (the other club at HR, cant remember name)...  Just gotta talk to the right people.  Also Poker Rooms do more to go out of their way for non high rollers than rest of casino.  So be friendly to Poker Room staff.

when we stayed at caesars we just asked the front desk about passes and they gave us some to pure
stayed at aria last time i went and it was a very nice place but not welcoming at all imo

This is good to hear. I'm staying here July 5-8 and the reviews on trip advisor and yelp have been so-so
I don't pay any attention to those "guides." take the restaurants, for example: I looked at some of the reviews on Yelp for Blue Ribbon and STK (the two I went to in April), and they get downgraded by reviewers mostly because they're "too expensive." It's Vegas and you're eating at two of the newest restaurants on the strip. Deal with it and don't complain. It's also funny because fine dining in Vegas isn't any more expensive than in any other major city. The alcohol prices aren't even jacked up that much, if at all. People just like to complain about stuff, and Yelp is about 75% full of people who nitpick.

Yeah I know. I definitely take everything I've read with a grain of salt. I'm definitely looking forward to my trip

I'm also staying at the planet Hollywood towers next month and I want to know more about this hotel too. My friend showed me the suite we staying at it looked great.
Stayed at PH towers last year for Halloween. Very nice suites, and a short walk to PH casino/strip. The HUGE projector screen coming down from the ceiling was bawse, it covers the entire window in the living room. Only downfall was the elevators

. Only a certain number of elevators, took me and my group about 40 minutes to get down from the 16th floor. Of course this was a busy/"holiday-type" weekend so it might be different on a normal weekend.

I went about a month ago, it was relatively warm at night, and it was still club attire as usual.
