GoT. A spoiler discussion thread

NK was waiting for the dragons.

Y'all notice he only had a few ice spears? Dude was so confident he would get at least 1 dragon.

i cant see dany flying over being a good idea

say she goes north, not really knowing what she getting into, and the NK kills the dragon w the spear

now dany stuck north of the wall, to be killed by wights, all because she wanted a look-see
If a dragon gets hit in the air by an ice spear she and the dragon are dead.

I'm saying she can fly high enough to get a look at a massive army marching on the wall.

That's confirmation enough.

Now if you're saying NK throwing arm has unlimited range well then any time the dragon is flying anywhere he can kill one with one throw.

Maybe I'm weird but I have no issue with Dany and Jon Smashing.

I mean I know it's weird in our world but it first cousins getting married is no big deal at all in this world

Maybe it's because I'm into confident women but she's been looking glorious this season vs the previous ones

At so many points in the episode I was like..........

Dany came through like.....

Putting the team on her BACK!!!

But R.I.P to the fallen. Dany lost one of her babies.....

Bruh  . They giving this fool a Dragon now. My mans gonna come through Westeros with all the hacks activated. Ole boy already got his aim bot going with dem spears.

Setting up a Night v. Snowgawd one-on-one doe. I can see the foreshadowing

My only beef, in a show with magic, dragons and zombies I know, is where the **** did they get the giant chains from. Like there were other egregious ex machinas but that one was tew much for me

Maybe they were left over chains from when they built the wall? Dunno, lol.

I'm starting to think that he did set them up(some how) was was watching the eastwatch episode and when Bran sees them the Night King and the White Walkers we're on that same rock that Jon them were stuck on.

Dany squirted when she saw those scars

Plus remember last season he legit saw and acknowledged Bran while he was in one of his green visions...Even physically touched his arm...

Maybe that theory thats out there saying Bran IS the Night King might be holding some weight...

 And how they just dip in unison immediately, conveniently giving Jon time to come up and get away.

It wasnt like Jon was miles away, dude was right there next to them  those skeletons chasing are one hitter quitters so Benjen put in work real quick and got Jon the hell outta there

RIP (again?) Benjen

Why did the Night King hit Viseryon when Drogon and the magnificent 7 were right in front of him?

Why didn't Benjen just jump on the horse with Jon?

I feel like there's definitely a reason behind the NK keeping them alive, not only could he have done that instead of hitting a moving dragon in mid air, he could have killed the suicide squad with ease when they were just chillin and sleeping on that rock. No chance there isn't a reason behind it, that being said I have no idea what or why

Maybe this symbol has something to do with the NK being able to see Bran warging. We've never learned what it means. Looks like an eye

My only problem with Bran being the Night King is that it would make no sense to me how someone blessed with magic-based power could approach within the vicinity of someone else magic-based and not expect to be noticed.

The Night King can apparently raise his own army, being able to see an astral version of Bran projected into the timestream seems within his scope.

Otherwise Bran alone could've went to anyone willing to help him and just offed the Night King on the low. It makes him that big of a threat, where even Bran who sees everything can't see the Night King in any period of time; past, present, or future.

Great episode minus the stuff at WInterfell, I really hate Littlefinger and hope Arya kills him next episode because this **** is ridiculous now. LF telegraphed that fake *** scroll for Sansa to randomly be invited to go to KL, for what exactly?
You gotta pay closer attention.

Littlefinger didn't telegraph anything. There was no fake scroll to get Brienne gone.

Its the meeting to prove the wights are real.

Glad to see Sansa put in her place by Arya. I wouldn't have been mad if she stabbed her then and there. She was getting so full of herself and paranoid but she had no idea what Arya is capable of. Neither does Littlefinger. :nerd:

This was the first episode in a while where Dany lived up to the hype. She risked it all for 7 men (well, one in particular).

It was a little contrived how exactly Viserion went down but in terms of the GoT universe and the plot it makes sense. The dragons have to have some sort of weakness. Cersei and Qyburn's ***** little arrow wasn't it. But the NK has something legit. And of course the dragon named after Viserys would be the one to go.

Jon didn't actually go into full badass mode in this episode but I know he's saving it for next season.

Sad to see Benjen go but he was always a true one. He saved both Bran and Jon. His watch has ended.
