This **** ain't rocket science. You can embrace being Hispanic and being black. It doesnt have to be one or the other. There's black Hispanics and there's white Hispanics. Hispanic is not a race. It's something that was made up. Ninja is cool for the most part but if he doesn't wanna embrace being a black man, cool. We don't need any self hating _'s on our side. Word, this was a HUGE segment on CNN when it first came out....now dudes wanna have amnesia like we're making this up.

I had a Rican psychology teacher said his. She said whether you accept it or not, light vs. Dark is a big issue in the Hispanic community. Brought up an example of her ex dominican bf mom asking where the girl with the "long straight hair" (which isn't even straight naturally) and the Green eyes were. The whole class agreed that she was right. They were all dominican. Which is basically what the West Bronx is (Besides africans) cause that's where I go to school.

Another example. My cousin was PR/Black. Fairly light. Had a DR girl. She wanted him to lie and tell her parents he was Dominican.

Another example. My girl is Mexican. Im renting a room in her fam house until I get my new place. Her brother and cousin has been toying with me since I got here. Even the mom is saying they just complaining with no proof now. She even admitted it is because I'm probably Black and if I was Hispanic it would be different.

I've had a Dominican girl with a black baby daddy and black baby call me a "n*gger". Her baby was half black.

But he one of those dudes just live in their own world. The world is how they want to see it and nothing else.

I don't go by the 1 drop rule, I thin it's stupid. You're not a Black man. You're Dominican. African, Taino, etc...But if you're denying black roots or ancestry. That's my problem. Because you have Hispanics who hate blacks. But sag their pants. Dress urban. Even rap. Don't like us but will take the culture we "don't" have. My girl brother and friends say "my n****" all day and it makes me cringe. I don't even use that word myself. Is that a part of Hispanic culture? It's odd when someone doesn't like blacks but likes the culture.

My ex girl was Paki. Brown people 9/10 don't like Blacks. But her racist aunt loves Michael Jackson. But ask her how her new job was and she would reply "There's a lot of Black people" (Verbatim). Her father isn't racist supposedly but when they moved to Long Island asked "Why did we move from queens to move back around more blacks?". Her brother referred to her as a "n*gger lover".

It threw me off because black people may be a lot of perpetuate a lot of negative things sometimes, but we are always accepting. Only time we weren't was with Rachel Dolezeal. But anyone can say they're Black and we wouldn't care. Hell, we would take you in. But can I tell Hispanics I'm Hispanic and you take me in as one and accept me? It threw me off seeing how racist people were. Cause my family was never like that. We never treated people different based on race or ethnicity. I even had two Mexican best friends growing up and they fam treated me well. So it threw me off when my girl fam treated me like this.
