Normally, the best thing to do would be to walk away, but clearly the girl is pursuing the dude. I also heard dude explicitly state "I did nothing to you" (which I believe, cuz kids on the metro are ridiculous). He looked like he had a job and a lot to lose, so I guess he was right in not putting hands on her. I would have defended myself, though.

absolutely correct. all life should be protected from violence and the idea that some should be allowed to be subjected to it more/less is crazy.
