Is Lebron James still the best basketball player right now?

its nothin wrong w declining it happens to all athletes

recognizing he's not as good dont mean hes not good at all

the game passed him by its a 3pt league now

and its ok

and i think kyrie leaving and cleveland struggling shows where lebron is at
Did you see Bron last night? Bron can shoot the three pointer now too.

LeBron has forgotten about more defensive schemes than Curry ever attempted...

LeBron could very well never make a all defense team again, and he'd STILL defend better than Harden or Curry in 2018.

there's no one who's more complete than Bron, and he's got 15 years in.

 at da thought of Curry or Harden sustaining their level of play for as long as LeBron has maintained his dominance.

Lebron's points allowed per 100 possessions - 111.7 . Only 40 players in the NBA are worse than that figure this year

Stephen Curry - 106.1. About half the league is worse than him.

Both players allow opposing players to shoot 45% when they are guarding them.

Switch KD and Bron’s positions and let’s see the narrative lmao.

Bron has to do EVERYTHING for Cleveland.

While the warriors don’t even need KD to win a ring lmao.

Bron > KD

And anyone that don’t want LeBron to help their trash *** franchise don’t deserve any success (lakers fans and Sixers fans).

Blah, blah blah, back to the Lebron doesnt have enough help narrative. How much help is enough? Realistically I can't play your theoretical game because no one knows what KD would have done with Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, and Love.

In the historically weak East too.

***** gets credit for going to the finals every year and losing most of the times....when he’s been the best player...on the overwhelming favorite team to come out his conference....flanked by 2 hall of famerd and good roles players (handpicked by him) since 2010 .

It’s a joke how weak the East has been since Like 2010. Teams were getting in with 37 wins....when it took 47 to get in out West . Even the NBA players know it’s ridiculously weak. Check this podcast out:

@ the 45:45 to 46:15

Richard Jefferson who played with Bron on his most recent championship team.....”Gotta love the eastern conference”

Can be said for every other superstar

- Duncan had TP9 (top 3 pg at the time? debatable) and Ginobli (top 3 sg? not debateable)
- Kobe had Pau (top 3 C? debatable) and who else? Odom, Bynum, Artest? (not top 3 at their position at the time)
- Dirk... well we all know that story lol, against King and his cronies no less
- Shaq had Kobe/Kobe had Shaq - who was their other top 3 player at the position? Derek fisher? Rick Fox? Devean George?

we can go on and on about this

Lebby hand picked Dwade and Bosh. And orchestrated Love coming to him when he joined Kyrie.

KD **** all over Lebron in the finals both offensively and defensively

didn't seem like it.

I bet Ninja was crying about the Christmas fouls KD put on Lebron this year. But forgot about this during a pivotal game in the NBA Finals.

lebron is still one of the best. and disrespecting his improved 3pt shot means ur not a fan of the game, but just a fan of players and highlights. lebron puts in work every offseason. his 3 is not to be ignored anymore, and ull get killed if u leave him open at the 3 all game. cut it out.

on topic, when u say BEST... do u mean physical specimen? do u mean that hes the most important player on any team? or do u mean has the best production? cuz hes always gonna be the best specimen til he retires. is he mvp? i dont think so and dont think its been that way for some years. cuz harden imo ONCE AGAIN is the mvp this year (thus far). and if ur talking about best as in he just puts up the best performances, hes behind quite a few people this season.

all in all... nah. hes not the best in the league anymore.

so 36% is dead eye?

i would hope he would make an open 3

what about the ft %?

nobody called him a deadeye 3pt shooter, but leaving him open there all game, which has been a strategy against him for most of his career, will get u killed. saying u would hope he would make an open 3 discredits damn near half the league who cant (outside of practice) regardless, it is undeniable to say he hasnt significantly improved his 3pt shot in the last 2 years. steph right now is only shooting 41%, durant at 42, so lets not act like lebron is a scrub out there at distance. not to mention a large % of his 3s are somewhat contested. but beyond that.... just shh cuz ur statement was nonsensical anyway

so first its he gets left open

Then its a majority are heavily contested

But guys that shoot over 40% are being discredited by you making a big deal over lebrons improvement to 36%

They face the same defenses he does

you wrote a long post but no mention of the ft %

If he such a threat to leave open from deep now why his ft % so low

That to me shows a unwillingness to master fundamentals

LBJ has always gotten by on his athleticism overpowering opponents

His lack of skill and fundamentals are starting to show now that he is getting older

Bron is streak 3 point shooter, always has been or the majority of his career. No better example than this season where he started around 42% the 1st 2 months and fell off to 28% the next 2.

This MVP’s tone would change totally if Lebron came to the Lakers

stats checked, numbers don't lie.

You must have missed the part where KD shot like 60% when guarded by Bron in the finals last year then. Even in that 2012 finals he have Bron 30 on 50%+ shooting.
