iTunes Organizational Thread....tricks, tips, questions.....

ive been thinking of getting rid of albums and just having artist and song title... this way it eliminates doubles and easier to put artwork because one pic will label all of the artist's music... is this a good idea? HELP!

QFT. I have straight OCD when it comes to my iTunes. I seem to find something wrong with it every day.

FYI, Programs like TUNEUP or whatever are horrible. My friend purchased it and it was a complete waste of money.

In order to group like albums together you have to make sure all the information matches such as the Year, Disc Number, Track Number, and most importantly, Album Artist.

Any real albums are easy to get the Artwork for. Just make sure all the information matches the information thats listed if you search for the Album in the iTunes store, then right click the album in your library and click Get Album Artwork. For mixtapes just get the picture from google images.

If anyone has any questions let me know.

If you're downloading them off sharing sites free then pay 20 bucks for tuneup

at paying to organize your iTunes. Takes 30 seconds (if that) to get it right
1. Import album/mixtape
2. Click + Shift to highlight every song on the album mixtape
3. Right click -> Get Info
4. Type in Artist/Album Artist
5. Type in album
6. Copy a decent quality image of the artwork, paste in bottom right corner box
7. Press OK
8. Go back and add featured artists in TITLE OF THE SONG
9. Done

Some people are lazy so they gotta pay for something if it's not the music.
