how close are these to the pantones in color. pretty sure i'm colorblind at this point 

Identical. University blue aka Pantone 542 (in UNC official color standards guideline) is the color. Pantone 278 was an often used variant and what Jordan Brand used for that unreleased pack years ago..so close it's pretty unnoticeable.

So the 7s will be University blue just as these are. Nike's UNC School-official blue

Yeah, interest in a lot of jb/Nike shoes here slowed down. But when there is hype, it's really difficult to obtain the shoes, eg a lot of people missed out on the royal 1. The red uptempos aren't moving at all here, I'm surprised at how it's moving based on the uptempo thread. Same with the silver surfer, and all the other foams
