At first I was really confused about this insistence that "the left" doesn't want fathers to have any say in decisions about kids. Then the more I thought about it, I started remembering conversations with hardcore right wing coworkers who used to go on and on and on about the "emasculation of the family." Had multiple discussions where they kept telling me that TV shows were leading the charge by showing dads as goofy but loveable screw-ups, and how that was undermining the role of the male in the family hierarchy. Seriously, what type of insecure dude do you have to be to truly believe television or "the left" have anything to do with your family structure?

So was it the meds ? It seemed to me he was always borderline chunky. But when he had the accident and was on a liquid Diet that’s when he lost all that weight. He kept it off for a bit I think there’s always been a chunk inside.
