This gif seems a bit more accurate:

Lots of involuntary solitaries going out sad right now.
i hope u know that i love you <3

There's a lot of healthy and thoughtful discussions that can be had around extrapolations of what Ye has been saying as of late (beyond just saying he's anti- semetic and crazy). But I dont know if those are the ones folks want to engage in on this platform.
I think I know what you're getting at :lol. There's a difference between hate speech/antisemitism and acknowledging that Jewish people might have a disproportionate amount of power/influence in certain industries. But kanye probably isn't the right messenger for that

Not really what I was thinking...

On the Drink Champs episode, Ye rambles to the point of saying "Im jealous of Jewish people". This stuck out to me, as I've observed and studied the religious order that practicing Jews have continued throughout the ages. They have an established base of culture, heritage, and standards that bind them together as a people. There are different sects and secular Jews that thrive today due to the strength and preservation of its nucleus, with the Torah at its root.

Generally, blacks Americans today will come together for a cause. But for the true long-standing unity we desire, we need to live together by codes. A lawless people is a lost people. A god- head figure like in the Torah isn't required. Its does require submitting to the collective (something greater than yourself) understanding. You cant truly come together unless you have something to come together for.

Black Americans have assimilated and plugged into different beliefs and ways of living. But none that instills standards and practices to build a foundation for the blacks of this nation, exclusively.

When Ye said he what he said, he may have been speaking from a bitter place. But I believe theres a lot about Jewish culture to admire and respect.

Kanye is not the person to spearhead these alleged “healthy and thoughtful discussions”

It's scamming all the way to the bottom.

There would be no criticism from me if there was some level of accreditation, but this is setting families up for disappointment, especially if their parents are not loaded enough to consider 15k/year pennies.

Although I agree, I thought it was clear I was talking about NT ("this platform"). I doubt Ye has an account on here, but if he did it would grand opening, grand closing on post 1 (which you prolly be 10 pages long by itself).

You have any statistic on this jewish top level dominancy in "certain industries", or you just pulling talking points from nazi handbooks?

Also what makes it disproportionate? What is the correct/ideal proportion in your opinion?

That's a really bizarre comment to make. Proves my point about how acknowleding Jewish wealth/success gets lumped with antisemitism.

What’s crazy is that a sentence like, “Jews are leaders of industry” or “Jews run the biggest companies”—you could easily imagine that same sentence said by a rabid anti-semite AND an admirer of the Jewish people.

That line between that anti- and philo-semitism? It can be really hard to figure out.

First off, let’s just check the numbers. For the purposes of this discussion, we’ll focus on American Jews. According to the 2020 Pew Research Center report on Jewish Americans the answer is…drumroll, please…that Jews are at least a little richer than average. Half of all Jews surveyed reported a six figure income, in comparison with a third of Americans overall who reported a similar income. And that disparity gets wider as you move up. A quarter of American Jews report family incomes over $200,000, a level that just 4% of Americans overall reach.
...
But clearly, Jews are also statistically overrepresented among America’s wealthy.

And yet, Jews are also vastly overrepresented in many other fields. Like David Brooks has pointed out:

  • Jews make up 0.2 percent of the world population, but 54% of the world chess champions
  • 27% of the Nobel physics laureates and 31% of the medicine laureates.
  • They make up 2% of the U.S. population, but 21% of the Ivy League student bodies
  • 38% of those on a recent Business Week list of leading philanthropists…

I really hate having labeling people based off their race and/or religion. Why do we have to group people based off those things?

"Jewish people might have a disproportionate amount of power/influence in certain industries"

Income level =/= influence or power

"On the other hand—Jewish wealth is exactly the kind of thing that fuels antisemitism of the worst kind."
Taken directly from your source.

You're trying to talk about "certain industries".

What are you getting at? Honestly it comes off as you being a pocket watching hater. Are they doing anything wrong? Are they discriminating against anyone? Or do they just have their **** in order? If it's the latter, wtf is the problem? Maybe the rest of us should take some ******* notes.

You're making a lot of assumptions. When did I say anything was wrong? 'Disproportionate' and 'overrepresented' aren't insults.

If there's nothing wrong, why are you bringing it up? Are you just one of those weird Ye stans that will try to justify the ******** he's been spewing by going "Well you know he does kinda have a point..." Just say what your point is.

well according to the article theres also this s
Before we go any further, it should be noted that Jews are also poor: 10% of Jews live on incomes below $30,000, roughly equal to 11.4% of Americans overall. (In Israel, by the way, 17.7% of its Jewish population lives below the poverty line, so this isn’t just an American thing.)

Income level =/= influence or power
disregarding all the jewish talk, I'm interested in this topic, regardless of race/religion/ethnicity
i kinda think that a higher income level does mean you have more power to do things or influence things

but im curious on the opposite side of the spectrum. (which i believe you are trying to express) why or how a higher income level won't get you more influence or power?
I'm tryna learn/understand both sides
