Kanye West: King of the Sunken Place, "Watch the Throne"

They've said, ''people weren't rockin adidas before Ye.'' I came with evidence to debunk that argument, but according to them those pictures & shoes don't count cause that's old. The same could be said about Michael Jordan's stuff. Just like people still rock the AJ1's or any other classic Jordan model, there's also people that still rock the Gazelle's, Samba's, Stan Smith's, Shelltoes, etc. but to them that's irrelevant, the double standards, smh.

Adidas will be just fine with or without Ye!

Americans think america is the only place on earth.

You have to understand that this community swears that it single handedly keeps these companies a float
I remember when the sneaker community found out it only makes up a fraction of these companies revenue dude we’re outraged lol

I wouldn't think anyone past a teenager would legit think this would be the end of adidas. The real questions are more, how big of a hit will adidas take with this and will people still purchase the models that had his name attached without the name attached?

I dont even know why you even entertained such statements. You know whoever said that gotta be in their early 20s.

da cultural impact of product is so awesome to look back on.

i think the impact that ye had on folks especially my age demo (30s) makes this whole thing hurt even more. For some of us we were there from College Dropout. He was a figure we grew up with. an underdog we cheered for. a cultural influence. He was also under the looking glass throughout all the adverse experiences he went through. The saddest thing from a consumer perspective is just how far removed Ye is from the Kanye we knew. What's the quote about heroes? Live long enough to become a villain?

I’m 35 and discovered Kanye from his feature on the Bounce, and then the Source mag posted about the Jesus Walks snippet on the summer of 03. Late Registration dropped on the day I moved into my freshman college dorm and I made sure to buy a copy that morning.

So yeah…. It sucks for sure. But it is what it is at this point. I’ve also listened to Nas LONG before Kanye was even known, and he is still releasing quality music without being a jack***, so as someone else said, there’s still so much other music to listen to. It is what it is.

The messed up thing about this situation is all you have to do is say what I’m going to say Next, and crickets …

Israel. 100,000’s of Palestinians being killed and oppressed today. Why? What kind of God would allow that type of prophecy to unfold? Start with that.

Semitic = Afro Asiatic , by definition , historically, and contextually in the Bible

Anti-semetic therefore would have to equal anti the definition of semetic.

According to the book of their faith , and historical definitions there are logical inconsistencies about how modern Jew appears to what is described as the hebrews of antiquity.

So like you said, you did some quick research. There are people who have done a lot more research and they would like to have a word with ADL. Solely on the premise on ensuring that things are historically accurate.

NST did it for 9/11 and for the respect of the families due to the multitude of conspiracies that came forth.

Millions died in the holocaust. Jews are still Persecuted today. Like I have consistently said, for A people who are sensitive to the presentation of their narrative it doesn’t make sense why they wouldn’t put forth something that ensures historical accuracy and protects the sanctity of the perceived survivors.
All that is good and all, but who is satan according to the "people who have done a lot more research"?

I'm still gonna get $60 stan smiths from amazon bc I refuse to spend $700 on some gucci aces or some goofy looking mcqueens

Since we are on this topic... from what I understand, archeological, it's never been proven the kingdom of Israel existed.

There are a group of academics led by Israel Finkelstein, chairman of Tel Aviv University’s archaeology department who debunk that kingdom of Israel ever even existed. Finkelstein and his allies reject any use of biblical sources to corroborate the identification of archaeological discoveries. They argue that the impressive structures unearthed throughout Israel and long believed to have been built during Solomon’s reign in the 10th century B.C. were actually built a century later. Far from being the fabulous city described in the Bible, King David’s Jerusalem “was no more than a poor village,” Finkelstein told The New York Times.

I hate that we have Holocaust truthers/deniers on this message board
This subject really gave people an excuse to expose a lot of their ******** views.

Even spilled over to other threads not involving Ye. Dudes even in the Umar thread complaining about bans and being silenced on NT.

It has been peak goofy season

Yea the cats complaining bout Jews either wanna deflect from Kanye or had a gripe which they using all this mess to get takes off …Cuz nobody, especially if you black should be shocked or mad how any of this is playing out…You must be living under or dumb as a rock if you think ppl care and will do anything bout anybody but their own

Why tf would you think “slavery was a choice” and all the other stuff would move the needle for Jewish or other white folks? It’s been no evidence or history to expect that or anything close to equal treatment for issues not related to them …Let Kanye dig his grave, he wildin out and facing consequences that’s it
