Kanye West: King of the Sunken Place, "Watch the Throne"

Adidas will be just fine.

They survived Jeremy Scott and they'll survive Ye.

I just want NB to bring these back:

Adidas will survive Kanye, no question.

Anyone who says that adidas before Kanye wasn't desirable doesn't know about superstar collectors and the wild prices some of those early 00s releases (supes, ZX, eqt) fetched.

With that said, Kanye got the shoes below to sell out:

Anything that dude wore before adi launched the Yeezy line disappeared from the shelves. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

One can argue the nmd and ultraboosts pushed things forward for adidas than nike, not discounting Kanyes contribution.

Didn't adidas poach like 5 key nike designersarount 2012-2013, then theybjust started churning out bangers.

Im not one of these people that thinks adidas is dead now but to be fair kanye is almost singlehandly responsible for ultraboosts taking off as well. Adidas was reebok status, culturally in the US, before kanye.

Can he do that with Fubu, Phat Farm, Etonic, LA Gear, Troop?

I'll answer it for u, 'No'. Things are easier when someone goes to a relevant brand like adidas.

I remember the toy line that inspired those shoes. Anyone old enough to remember the “My Pet Monster” doll? I think they had cartoons as well.

I remember and totally got the reference when I saw the shoes but I could see how someone not from that era couldn’t.
