**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Ya trade the excess for pieces you need
That’s a good problem to have

And that’s why Portland was stupid for not drafting Jordan when they had Drexler

We are the worst run team in the nba.
Hell maybe even sports.

Jason ******* Kidd.
Unbelievable.

Lue probably holding out for more security. The lakers probably dont want to be in another situation where they’re paying a coach who isn’t here anymore lmao. Probably gave Lue a 2 year offer (coinciding with brons tenure) or 3 years with the third not being guaranteed (similar to Byrons). Lue probably wants 3-4 minimum guaranteed

Also the lakers trying to force assistants on the staff?! Wtf. Let my mans hire his own staff. Luke done ****** it up for everyone hiring his Arizona volleyball boys

bruh
let lue hire who he wants man wtf lol
jeanie and her bff oversteppin like mofos

lue was gonna bring vogel but they want kidd man foh

This is pretty damn embarrassing. Nobody with any real front office credentials are making these decisions.
No free agent worth a damn will want to be a part of this, unless Bron can somehow convince someone. Will most likely need to make a trade in some shape or fashion for a high caliber player and gut the team in the process, hanging around in basketball purgatory. Or end up committing 5 years and big money to someone that isn't going to make us a true contender, hanging around in basketball purgatory.
Hoping for the best but there have been literally 0 indications for me to feel reassured about this team's offseason/future for the next 5 years.
