**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

The way our key veterans can get even more game to game load mgmt is if we focus on one game at a time, take care of business, so that we can separate and have the final standings look like

1. Lakers 64-18
2. Denver 56-26
3. Clippers 55-27

20-9 as they secure the 1 seed before the last 6 games or so and let the big guns rest.

I'm taking the opposite approach to some of you guys. What's the point I'm pushing for 60 + wins, when the second and third place teams will probably went around 56 or 57 games? You don't get bonus points for winning the conference by more games.

I see us winning 58 or 59 games (just enough to win the conference by a 1 or 1.5 games) and giving LeBron and Anthony Davis games off down the stretch.

The entire point of getting off to a quick start was so we could take it easy down the stretch while other teams are going all out worried about seeding.

Y’all still holding on to hope that Lebron and AD are gonna “rest”?

I mean giving the guys rest once we've already clinched the top spot only makes sense. If weve clinched the #1 seed with 5 or 6 games left, do you see LeBron and AD playing in those games?

Good article in LA Times about the chopper pilot having spatial disorientation and insufficient instrument training smh

LMAO

SAS says we wouldn't have "missed" on buyout guys or trades if Magic was still in charge.

Yeah Magic probably would have traded Kuz, Green Caruso and a 1st round pick for MKG and he would say MKG is the best small forward ever...smh
we also couldve had d'aaron fox if it wasnt for magic

not sure if this is the right place, but does anyone have a HD wallpaper of the current lakers court? Or know how to remove a watermark off this one:

Kief can't play SF like his Marcus, so this is more Kuz insurance in case he goes off the deep end. :lol
