EXACTLY how I felt too. They were genuine feels for sure. Ultimate retribution arc, cause he didnt do anything to deserve the backlash, I loved he got it. Hes def showing up in the future, prolly Obi Wan S2, since Ewan McGregor said he wanted to work with Ahmed again as his #1 choice.

He hasn’t been essentially baptized yet in the waters taking the Mandolorian oath yet.

I think it had more to do with redeeming himself for taking the oath but removing his helmet. Removing the helmet is a serious act against Mandolorian ways. Don’t think any body of water could just redeem him.
