Marvel vs. Capcom 3 news digest, extra notes
Quitea few new Marvel vs. Capcom 3 details hit the web this evening. To saveyou the time of reading through every article, here's a bulleted recapof the notable stuff.

If you want to read everything for yourself, check out the sources at the end of this story.

•MvC3 will contain a Simple Mode where there will be only one or twoattack buttons. This is for new fighting game players so they can getused to things. They can switch to Standard Mode when they feel likethey've got the hang of the title.

• Niitsuma confirmed there will be DLC of some sort for MvC3, whatexactly will be in these packs hadn't been decided yet though.

• Certain character combinations will enable you to do things that youotherwise wouldn't be able to do. Also, Niitsuma specifically said thatthey're pushing the individualism of the characters much more so thanthey did in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

• Capcom-Europe is currently filming MvC3 player guides with producerNiitsuma-San & general fighting game fanatic Electric Leo.

• The plan to do Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was in place before vanilla StreetFighter 4 was launched. Although Capcom was encouraged by SF4's sales,MvC3 wasn't built in reaction to the other game's success.

• MvC3's lobby system will be different than the one that was in Street Fighter 4.

• When asked if they've heard requests from the fans about puttingPhoenix Wright into the game, Niitsuma responded that they have a teamof people who monitor online forums and things.

• Ryota said that SF4 got a 3DS and iPhone release because of it'ssuccess on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and it's possible MvC3 couldfollow in those footsteps as far as having ports to those platforms aswell as a Wii and arcade versions, but again, nothing has been decidedyet.

• In the first prototype, MvC3 was more of a spiritual sequel toTatsunoko vs. Capcom, but now the developers want it to be a truesequel to the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise.

• MvC3 was refereed to as a "Triple A, huge budget title," on par withStreet Fighter 4 in terms of development costs, so Capcom very muchexpects this to be a highly successful game.

• Capcom would have to go back and renegotiate another contract withMarvel if they wanted to create an arcade release of MvC3 or otherports.

• Disney buying Marvel has had no impact so far on the development of the game.

• Marvel must approve everything Capcom does. From actual characteractions, names of the moves, marketing and promotion and even if theyhold live events, Marvel must give their OK.

• At this stage of development, everything is pretty much locked downas far as the characters and features they'll be able to put in thegame, but it's possible in the future, they may be able to add in fanrequests and other things via DLC, but the schedule is locked down foras far as launch stuff is concerned.
Silhouette image shows C. Viper in Marvel vs. Capcom 3?
An eagle-eyed reader, Darts, noticed that Capcom posted a new silhouette image of various Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters on their official website. He pointed out that one of them looks a lot like C. Viper's outline.
As you can see, this very closely matches her artwork for vanilla Street Fighter 4, and it seems quite likely she'll be in the upcoming game. Other readers spotted what appears to be Frank West's outline in other silhouette images as well, although he still hasn't been confirmed yet.

Checking out the first image above, do you see any other outlines that you recognize?

PS3Gen’s apparently leaked the entire line-up for Marvel vs Cacpm 3. If you’re looking to stay clean before it launches, best not hit the jump. Otherwise, it’s open season.

On the Marvel side, we have:

Spiderman, Hulk, Wolverine, Mr Fantastic, Captain America, Iron Man, War Machine Elektra, Thor, X-23, Magneto, Dr. Doom, Shuma-Gorath, Emma Frost, Deadpool, Super Skrull, Taskmaster, Juggernaut, Miss Hulk.

And for Capcom:

Ryu, Mike Haggar, Frank West, Chuck, Spencer (Bionic Commando), Dante, Chris, Morrigan, Arthur, Amaterasu , Albert Wesker, Zero, Chun-li, Viewtiful Joe, Trish, Tron Bonne, Hsien-Ko, Akuma, Felicia.

Meaty stuff. Should do the trick until Street Fighter x Tekken lands.

MvC3 launches next year for PS3 and 360.

Thanks,  ’Toid

like i said in the PS3 thread.. Im pretty sure the Marvel side of this list is fake. based on the fact that Marvel doesnt want any of the FF in (so no Mr.Fantastic) and Niitsuma-san has already confirmed NO Emma Frost
