Agree, heard there was a cap.Up the money they were gonna give.
Its an airline they have money.
Eventually someone woulda taken it.
How do they even decide
They do the neegan thing or something
After no one accepted the deal, they did it randomly by computer l think.
Whatever it is, it's certainly not dragging a paying passenger off the plane bloodied.
He was resisting
They didn't beat him........ l don't think.
Again how do you remove a man who doesn't want to be moved if not by force?

Not saying this justifies the actions but tmz strikes again lol
Dr David Dao was charged in 2005 with 98 felony drug counts for illegally prescribing and trafficking painkillers. Prosecutors claimed Dao fraudulently filled prescriptions for hydocodone, Oxycontin and Percocet.
Dr. Dao was also convicted on 6 felony counts of obtaining drugs by fraud and deceit and in 2005 was given 5 years probation.
Dao was also convicted for writing prescriptions and checks to a patient in exchange for sex.
Well damn
Doctor dragged off United flight was felon who traded prescription drugs for secret gay sex with patient half his age and took them himself - and he needed anger management, was 'not forthright' and had control issues, psychiatrist found

They keep blank checks at the tix counter. That 2k should have been offered. Now they bout to pay mills.
Agree 100000%Why remove him? obviously his arrival to his destination was urgent. Up the price? offer it to another passenger? book flights for the crew with a competitor? get the crew a car rental? bus/shuttle? This wasn't a criminal act and shouldn't be treated as such. No justifiable reason for this and you wouldn't be singing the same tune if this was you or a family member.
didnt he say he was tired of taking care of bumsHindsight is 20/20. Like Vick not paying off his peoples to eat a dogfighting charge.

what a plot twist
After no one accepted the deal, they did it randomly by computer l think.
What were they supposed to do?
They asked him to vacate the seat multiple times.
l understand that over booking is the problem but it's here.
You ask some one to leave and they don't you just let the plane sit until he decides it's time or wait until another passenger breaks?
Serious question.

if that computer picked an old lady....or a handicapped person.....and THEY refused like ol boy....they woulda handled that differently and THATS how this shoulda been handled.

The airline said it then followed US Department of Transportation protocol in calling local law enforcement to forcibly remove the man from the plane after he refused to disembark.
The Chicago Department of Aviation said in a statement that the incident "was not in accordance with our standard operating procedure and the actions of the aviation security officer are obviously not condoned by the department."
