If you have Directv with the 4k equipment, this is the Saturday slate of games in 4k

Nebraska at Colorado
Iowa at Iowa State
Texas at Alabama

And possibly USC vs Standford.

I saw a pole on the Clemson 247 fan site that shows that a majority of Clemson fans either want Dabo fired or believe he is on the hot seat. Seems like Dabo may become a victim of his own success. The only reason Clemson has championship expectations is because of Dabo.

Is Dabo at legendary status to where he can coach at Clemson for as long has he wants like Bobby Bowden or Joe Pa?

Despite being relatively young Dabo already the greatest coach in Clemson history, would they really fire him?

Clemson is one of those schools where they need to be careful what they wish for. If they fire Dabo for going 10-2 every year, they may find themselves backsliding as a program. Clemson isn't Ohio State or Alabama where competing for championships is their birthright.

Bad teams/organizations typically draft at the top. We see this nonsense every year where media tries to drum up the idea that one of these guys shouldn’t go to the team. People were doing the same with Burrow And he’s been in a Super Bowl and 2 AFC title games in 3 years. It’s cute to discuss on a slow news day but they should absolutely call his bluff. He’ll be wherever drafts him.
Bro he hasn't said anything about not playing for a team. In fact he said the opposite. Slow news day indeed

Can we all also acknowledge how funny it is that the biggest controversy in sports is that a college kid may come back for his 4th year/degree? Media's just done a complete 180 on that whole "student athlete" thing huh?

McMurphy just making a point not having Colorado, he’s hoping he turns out right :lol

One day at work social gatherings he's gonna be able to tell his peers he could throw a football over a mountain and was the first NCAA player to lose out on 4 starting gigs at 4 schools in his 7-year career.

All while winning 5 heismans no less

I don’t think so with todays game. There are way too many up and coming coordinators/coaches at smaller schools that schools are willing to take a shot on. I hate Dabo but they’re 3 years removed from playing in the playoff and still winning the ACC pretty regularly.

Now if they go a few years without winning the ACC (if it’s still around) and stop winning double digit games then sure.

But keep in mind the playoff is about to expand to 12 teams so he’s going to have to do a lot less to make it. Then can they justify firing a coach who makes the playoffs regularly?

Still think it's in Caleb's good interest to not join a NFC West team

Thanks

The NFL will rig it for us. The refs will gift AZ some wins so they don’t get the top pick Get used to seeing him twice a year for the next decade 🤗

At least JT is going to get a degree from a great academic institution. But that can't be the goal.

Dude probably legit wants to make the league.

I mean...this used to be the whole point of college football. I'm sure it still is for some, but if you end up not making it in the League, you have a degree to fall back on...in JTs case, he might even have a Master's by the time he's done.

What is J.T. Daniels goal? And if it’s not football which it shouldn’t t be, how many credits has he been able to transfer across four schools?
His goal is to make the NFL. The problem is he peaked too early in his career.

But he’s been getting PAID paid by these schools. Georgia broke him off, he asked Oregon State for a house (allegedly) and they couldn’t meet his number, but WVU did. And he’s getting Texas money and a grad degree from Rice.

He’s a really smart kid too, so whatever happens, JT should be good.

He peaked because the ceiling was never that high to begin with and that should have been apparent watching his film.

These recruiting analysts constantly overvalue “college readiness”, he’s a rich white kid who had private QB lessons growing up and went to one the most prestigious HS FB programs in the country. If he wasn’t college ready it would have been a massive red flag.
