Sometimes, I just don't understand JB/nike. They got the 1.5s down perfectly. But they couldn't do the same for the rare airs. I would buy em if they were made like the original. At least don't add nike air on the back and jumpman air on the tongue. Like thats over branding like a mug.

2013 Chicagos and 2009 DMP seem to have the worst leather of any retro AJ1s. As far as all AJ1s I've owned, I'll rank quality as:
2015 veg tan pinnacle
1994 Chicago
2014 Lance Mountain (white)
2001 silver/metallic mid
2016 black/red (I didn't actually wear these, but I copped em for my homie so I had them in hand)
2009 purple/metallic (don't be fooled by the tumbled look - they were stiffer than a 55 year old after poppin a viagara)
