If it makes anyone feel better. Dont think of the colorway as a Lakers colorway. Think of it as MJ's frat, Omega Psi Phi. That's what they were originally paying homage to with the OG unicorn samples, The School Daze pack back in 09 to now. The Lakers had an official shoe/shoe holder already in Magic Johnson with the Weapons.

I don't like the Lakers but I'm copping these. In fact, I'm glad the Lakers suck.

Magic Johnson is the best thing to ever happen to the Lakers though. I like him.

I personally like these SB Chicagos more than Spideys. Spideys are pretty good, no hate, but I don't care for the dots or clear soles.

I was sad I missed out on Spideys, but sometimes things work out for the best - I'd much rather have these.

im just going to be honest thats pretty lame. No one is going to look at your insoles, and if you really care THAT much about branding, I think these people need to reevaluate life priorities.

The shade of purple and gold just seem so subdued. I was hoping it was just the lighting and such of the images, but it looks like that’s just how the shades are. I’d love them if they were as bright as #31 above. As for when they’re Chis, though I’m imagining they just did a rush job, not really impressed. Looks like dingy Chis IMO. Also missing the red outsole and tongue tag that really makes them pop IMO. I hope they have enough for those that truly want them.
