Black doesn't want that stress. If anything he'll just go after Supreme Kai and kill him so that Beerus dies by default. Supreme Kai being trash makes this the logical option.

Didn't get a chance to look at this but I will. But I can only assume if it's 45 minutes it's really complicated. So I'll post this as a lead up because timelines and universes and such continually confuse people in this sub.

Exactly the last time we saw beerus fight at the end he admitted to lying about how much power he was using. Monaka could have been used for scaling purposes if he truly was the strongest person beerus has ever faced but that's clearly not true. So trying to even attempt to scale Beerus' power or compare him to anyone else won't be based in anything factual.

I don't even see the point in theorycrafting.
Toriyama has people that know his own creation better than he does. All bets are off.
Krillin might go Super Saiyan God just cause. I don't see the point in huge elaborate theories when the guy writing the damn thing forgets his own material.

And for the last time Toriyama is not writing Super, Toei is. Toriyama may contribute a few character designs or plot ideas but that's about it. Just like GT.
The last things Toriyama truly wrote/conceptualized beginning to end were BoG and Resurrection F.

Ehh Beerus is strong but he stated he used 70-80 (I forget which) percent of his power when he fought Goku. This was before Goku even went blue.
Rose is probably as strong as Beerus if not stronger.

Lol when Beerus mentioned that he used 70-80 percent of his power, he wasn't even talking to Goku. It was just a talk between Whiz and Beerus at the end of the movie.

which is why i tell people not to skip the anime arcs in lieu of watching the movies. the series is built on what goes on in the anime, not what happened in the movies.

that 70-80% figure isnt canon and has nothing to do with
does that make sense if whis states that goku and vegeta MIGHT be able to be able to beat beerus if they worked together using ssb? by that logic goku beerus would have to be significantly stronger than just 30% more than goku
do yourself a favor forget the movie as far as power scaling goes. the movie wasnt made with super in mind and vice versa

Yes. Goku was going to overtake Beerus eventually. Beerus is hardly top fish. Beerus mentioned there were fighters stronger than him in other universes and Goku has to worry about the tournament next.

Is safe to say for the sake of argument that champa and beerus are equal as far as we know?
If champa was about to eradicate Hit and his entire team for losing the tournament and disobeying him, having just witnessed how strong hit is, and still be completely sure of his dominance, how would goku who even with SSB x Kaioken is weaker than hit be anywhere close to beerus if champa is as strong as beerus is? By that logic you would have to say that SSB isn't that much stronger than regular SSG, and that SSB x kaioken which still has to be weaker than beerus is only marginally stronger than SSB. Doesn't add up. You're highly over exaggerating gokus power and Doing the opposite to beerus.

I get that, but what you are implying is that if this is Goku's turning point in overtaking Beerus in power, that would mean that he will run into obstacles at the tournament that will give him troubles that are also stronger than Beerus.
That would result in Beerus becoming irrelevant and that there will be more common characters too that'll be stronger than gods. Which I don't see happening.
If every new enemies power is scaled according to Goku's current ability, that would mean that every new enemy going forward will be stronger than Beerus, and since we can't scale Beerus' current power I don't think we can assume that Black is indeed stronger than him.
Either that, or Goku will not beat Black. They will find an alternative to taking him out, aka killing the ****boy who makes tea.
