The Brexit is likely going to take 2 or more years to take effect, so hopefully GOT is done by then. If not, I'm sure there are plenty of US studios that will be interested in taking over or at least willing to help finance the last season.

The more I think about it why the **** did Roose legitimize Ramsey?

He'd probably be alive if he didn't.

He needed Ramsay to marry Sansa so they could justify taking over Winterfell. He was already married to the Frey woman so he couldn't marry her himself. Ramsay needed to be legitimized because Sansa is highborn.

I just read a washington post article saying the brexit won't affect filming. HBO says part of their production isn't paid by the European Regional Development Fund and that they would still get tax incentives for filming in Ireland.

It's the same reason Tywin had Tyrion marry Sansa. Sansa was the key to controlling the North since all the legitimate male Stark heirs were either dead or presumed dead. In the books Roose did have another son and unlike most of the Boltons, he seemed like a decent person. Then he met Ramsay and not too long after that he died.
