Robb had all that support because he was a stark.. The north is loyal to the Starks

Robb's dire wolf is who got him respect with his bannermen

Jon went to the wall HATED, because they thought he was a privileged boy.. Then you got head dude calling him lord snow.. Then he makes the unpopular move of befriending and sticking up for Sam

Dude earned respect.. Dudes who attempted to kill him were willing to die for him.. Hell some of them did

There is a reason that in the heat of battle all them dudes looked to him for answers and took commands from him

Rob literally might be right behind Brienne in most Ls on the show ..dude won 3 battles an yall acting like he was a god [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

Jon would wash Rob period ..no way in hell Jon is falling in love wit some random broad an jeopardizing the War. He fell for the wildlife girl but he had a endgame the whole time and came back to his Brothers

Rob took the biggest L in the show because if the Red Wedding never happen the whole show is completely different

Tell em son :smokin

The bastard would have been more politically savy. :lol

Come on now.

What's is your basis for this? Same dude who broke life or death vowes for some icebox yambs would have upheld his vows when faced with A1 yus and true love?

Nah.

He broke his vows to save his life. Robb broke his vows for a cute butt and a pretty face.

No. Smashing the red head did not save his life. He could have diddy bopped out that cave the same way he swagged in.

There's no way in hell Jon would ever be in a position to jeopardize the war because he is BLINDED by his oath to the Wall and he will never leave. He isn't even wired to lead that many people yet. Not saying he could never get there but he is taking baby steps to becoming a leader

Rob wasn't perfect, far from it. He let his flaws get the best of him just like his father before him

I love Jon. I see it in him. But some of yall love to d-ride who ever getting the most screen time and then be overly critical in hindsight. :lol

Aint d-riding. These are facts. I dont even like Jon that much (not even in the top 50% of characters on the show), but i HAAAATTTTTE Robb. Now he can compare notes with his dad in the headless cemetery.

Jon isnt blinded by his oath.. He would have left the wall and taken arms with his brother if not for Sam

He broke the oath with ygritte..

And I think if he didn't see the crazy in Stannis and the red queen.. He would be willing to do it again

He tried reasoning with mance and Stannis for the better good of all involved

Robb would still wash Jon 1v1 [emoji]128514[/emoji]

Again if the roles are reversed, Jon is following in his believed father's footsteps and gobbling up them same L's.

The fact that Robb took the ultimate L and is no longer with us, paired with the fact that Jon is dominating the screen this season, has some of you feeling different on that revisionist history tip.

Jon slayed the yambs and put his face all in it to save his life. Nah we remember it didn't go down like that. :rollin

Um, Stannis literally offered him the ONE thing Jon's always wanted, to be a Stark, and he declined because of his oath. It would have been an offer of REVENGE as well for his family, but nope, he wants to stay true to his oath. He is blinded or at least loyal to it

He broke his oath not to sleep with women and other things but he is set to stay for now

How is he taking baby steps ? Dude been basically leading the Castle black since th lord commander got taken out in Season 3 ..Jon earned his respect at the wall ..Rob incompetent *** had it handed it to him because of his last name

Unless I'm crazy only time we even seen Robb swing a sword was wen he took the Karstarks dude head. ..he ain't touchin Jon wit the steal brah. Got his dumb *** killed and ICE taken smh

Biggest difference is Jon knows how to play the game ..Robb on th other hand was completely clueless to the politics of the game and got him his mom his unborn and his wife killed. Dude took the ultimate L

Robb would still wash Jon 1v1 [emoji]128514[/emoji]

Absolutely no proof of that. None. Jon was out there bodying ****** like Beatrix Kiddo.

Robb goes into battle surrounded by some of the North's best men and that's your proof he couldve washed Jon :lol

Anyway this discussion has gone full circle so Im out.

Jon is in a position of power as lord commander.. And he's well aware of what is coming

If home boy was made lord commander, maybe he takes Stannis up on that offer.. But he would be beholden to Stannis and the red queen

I just think he sees the bigger picture of what everyone will have to deal with (and all those necessities won't matter soon).. And if he can avoid siding with Stannis and his crazy ways, might just be in his best interest

Sam explained that gettin them yams ain't really breakin the oath . It's well known that they go to that lil town close to the wall and get them prostitutes yams ..can't really fault Jon for that

But they want to act like Jon doesn't suffer from the same flaws though! :eek :lol

No I have no proof. Neither do you. Our book readers have led us to believe yes, it's more logical to come to the conclusion that Robb was superior with the sword. Again no proof, but that tangent started with people saying Jon was a better fighter. Where's the proof?

Plus Jon was able to diffuse and handle the situation with getting Stannis out of there well.. And he brought up what would happen with the wildlings

He now will have a chance to recruit them to his cause

He initially was a very reluctant leader. He didn't EVEN WANT the fat boy to nominate him, he told him to shut up. He's taking baby steps to wanting to become a leader. Nothing wrong with saying that

Jon sleeping with ygritte doesn't equal Robb sleeping with home girl..

Robb was feeling himself and didn't think about the larger ramifications of his move

Jon was able to integrate himself within his sworn enemies camp

This is that revisionist history I'm talking about. John's been basically commanding Castle Black since Commander Mourmant died? What shown are you watching?

And here is the difference.. Jon getting some saved his life and probably a ton of his brother's lives as well (since they now knew they were coming)

Robb getting some cost him, his family, his bannermen and the north
