he wouldn't be ridiculed if he want to chicago or new york, but it wouldn't have been instant gratification. probably would have taken a year or two on either squad
So you don't know what is in his head/heart because he went to a team that he felt gave him the best chance of winning instantly? Logically, why should he want to go somewhere that will take him 2 years if he can go somewhere that he knows he has a chance to win instantly? You understand my appraoch? I know it is your opinion. You don't have to mention that. We are all sharing our opinions in here DubA.
But my question is, what is wrong (logically, philosophically, and competitively) with him being tired of people calling him a loser? What is wrong with him using that as motivation to want to win?
Why shouldn't he go to the place that is the easiest path if he really wants to win? I am not understanding your angle.
If I want a sandwich and there is a Subway next door to me, and 10 mins from me, why wouldn't I just take 30 steps to the SUbway next to my house? That is like you telling me, "Well you aren't REALLY hungry because you didn't travel further to get food." How does that make sense? Why take the most difficult path? Because it looks more noble? Maybe in a fairy tale. But not taking the easiet path also means that the probability of winning lessens.
He wants to win point blank. That is why he went to a situation that would allow him to do it. I mean that is the point of competition right? I thought it was maybe I am mistaken.
