What’s the word on Dior Sauvage?. I’ve always heard a lot of great things.

Frags like Sauvage, 1 Million, and Aqua de Gio are suffering from their own success.
They are wildly popular, and everyone has a bottle. These houses want to move volume so they make linear basic scents that will appeal to the masses.
Do they smell good? I think so, but your not turning any necks wearing them.
I have a bottle of Sauvage and reach for it from time to time. It is safe.
Some people, especially aficionados would call it boring/chemical smelling.

I can't stand Oud. I don't see how anyone can see the appeal of smelling like a barnyard. When I read that there is little to no oud in this despite it's name, I jumped on a 10ml split. After putting my nose on this, I don't think 10ml is enough.

Happens to me all the time, I thought I was just tripping.

It's because your brain adapts and essentially becomes numb to it.
Same philosophy as listening to loud music in the car and you keep turning it up. Then you get out and get back in and you blow your ear drums out.
