So much attention has been putting on the Dems discourse regarding progressive language and how that affects them electorally, little attention is put on how centrist **** the Dems over on being able to distance themselves from the culture war to run on pocketbook economic issues
Like the party tried to pass popular economic programs. Like 98% of the party agreed to do that
But one clown is held up as a shining example of how to appeal to red-state voters, just ****** the entire party's economic agenda.
He ****** over the centrist choice for President.
What reason do right-wing voters that like the Dems economic plans, swing voters with conservative culture views, and low propensity progressive voters have to vote for the Democratic Party in the near term?
WTF does the party do now. Run-on "give us more seats because Joe Manchin is a jackass"
So again, so much energy is spent about the discourse coming from progressive that the people really ******* over the Party, the voters, and the American people on the centrist left get a pass.
And this problem compounds. Biden and the party get most of the blame for the actions of Manchin (and Sinema), but if they plan to overcome this is to elect more Dems (especially in red states) the actions of Manchin undermine that effort because he makes the party more unpopular and bakes in a level of resentment. So good candidates are gonna have a tougher time winning
Joe Manchin does more to harm the Democrat brand/party than AOC and the Squad do.

-That drug prices would decrease dramatically
-And they would be able to afford home care to they won't have to move into nursing homes
The AARP were running ads supporting this stuff
All programs are quite popular
Manchin and Sinema destroyed all of this.
But tell me again about how much teacher unions and the diversity trainings are costing Dems
