The thing is, this kind of stuff barely appears on American TV, and when it does, Americans discard whatever doesn't fit their carefully crafted reality.

Republicans know their base doesn't watch these things; that's why they can be as outlandish as they can. If one of these videos goes viral on Parler, they can just claim it's a deep fake manipulation.
