***Official Political Discussion Thread***

I keep telling folks on our side that it will be Trump vs Joey Part 2 and if we get complacent with this both sides nonsense and don’t rally for Joe and show up in huge numbers at the polls then we will lose again. This will be another close election if our side stays home or falls into the trap of talking about Joe and his age when Trump is just as old but hateful. Not trying to see a women’s March post election or see Shia Labeuf yelling about resisting. We can win with our voting and organizing now. Don’t wait for the court to convict because even if they do it won’t disqualify an already deplorable candidate that will be the REPUBLICAN nominee.

The media made huge dollars off of Trump and they will make sure that this is a horse race. Profits over democracy. I know this is asking a lot but if you have people in your life that are pedaling ideas about how Joe failed them you have to push back and push back hard. From student loans to voting rights don’t let them lie. The corrupt court is at fault and if we want any chance of stemming the tide we have to get Joe/Kamala a second term and hopefully they get to nominate a Supreme to replace One of the deplorables. I’m very confident that we can and will win but we have to fight hard. The media is already doing the Trump 24/7 news cycle again which helps him. Roland Martin had to check his own panelists last week for pedaling lies about Joe and Kamala and arguing about how they failed to get pro black legislation through while totally arguing that somehow Joe should’ve convinced 10 republicans to vote for something when Joe Manchin can’t even get one.

Crazy since 2020, there is plenty of evidence to show how messed up the GOP has been and how they continue to be with the way they go about their business. And plenty of evidence supporting President Biden and the Dems, showing how much they've done for the people and the country. Yet, it's still going to be a race come election time.

Too many people are lazy fam. No other political system rewards a group that destroys the country every time they get into power like our system. Republicans break this country every time. They pass tax cuts for the Uber rich, advocate for hate, destroy the middle class, hurt the poor, legislate women’s body, destroy the economy and legislate in hate.

Democrats get back in power and they make meaningful changes but they are held to a totally different standard. If changes don’t happen fast enough they get blamed and the cycle starts over again.


GHB messed up the economy and messed up lots of things including giving us Clarence. William Clinton comes in and the economy takes off like a rocket. Outside of him being a pervert and predator the country was kicking major, MAJOR, MAJOOOOR rear end. Military was Ford Tuff, folks had jobs and we were HERE.

Gore gets cheated and we get GWB. From him we get War on Terror, 9/11, ruined reputation and an economic crisis so terrible that racist America said let’s give a Black man a chance.

Obama literally pulls the economy from the brink, got us the closet thing to universal healthcare (f Joe Lieberman and scums for messing up the public option), is probably one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had.

After this success White people got mad and gave us Trump. Trump is probably the worst President we’ve ever had. Not only did he destroy our relationship abroad, he is literally on a path to destroying our democracy, he is a liar, sold our country out to Putin and is directly responsible for every American that died during the pandemic.

Now we have Joey Biden. He has adopted the most progressive agenda a president has ever adopted in my lifetime. Student Loan debt forgiveness, the economy is kicking tail, he is helping us stem the tide in an awful worldwide inflationary environment, stacking the lower courts with our judges, standing up to Putin in ways no other US president has and yet, YET, YETTTTTTT, we have to fight to make sure he beats Trump. Deck is always stacked against us. They break it, we fix it, we get blamed for them breaking it and they get back.

And how is Biden dragging Democrats to the right?

I have a hard time deciding if it's stupidity, ignorance, or maliciousness that drives this woman's comments on the current administration. How daft can you be to not take into account the differences that exist between election-season Trump (promises to everybody) and president Trump (empowers the worst people the GOP has to offer)? What makes her think he is anti-interventionist and pro-abortion?
