***Official Political Discussion Thread***

I'm watching the trump rally on tv and he keeps repeating the same damn thing. System is rigged, Hillary is corrupt, we are winning big, I respect Commey very much. blah blah blah, etc... crowd keeps yelling same thing: "lock her up" If i were undecided, this will not make me vote for trump. He needs to stick to substance, not talking about how we need to lock her up and how the system is rigged. BS!

When has Trump ever provide subsistence
laugh.gif

Yelling nonsense at angry people is what got him this far. He won't stop now,
He did yell: " WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE are going to DRRRRRAIIIIIIIIIIN the SWWAAAAMMMPP!"

crowd: "drain the swamp, drain the swamp"

Pure comedy, yet how pathetic. In a way i feel sorry for Trump and his supporters to actually think he is gong to win. All that effort and time for nothing.

Trump: "oh yea we're gonna build the wall"

crowd: " build the wall, build the wall, build the wall ( while rump walks around the stage lol) build the wall"

Quit repating the same damn thing dude! So annoying!

Are drain the swamp tees availible in long cuts or maybe distressed rock tour style yet?
I wanna look styley while a support

I watched the little video up there, the one with the "black", entertainers speaking of Trump and his appeal. The real issue, the real question that needs to be asked is this, should entertainers be the voice of reason for the oppressed?

I dont think entertainers should speak on politics unless they are willing to go speak to the politicians themselves and put in the work to required to get their voices respected in the proper arena. If katy perry shows her guns and madonna promises top for a hillary vote and diddy dons a shiny suit and dances for trump, its all just a distraction.

Hopefully people are smarter than voting for whoever their fav singer or dunk practitioner decides is best

If Da Don can do it why can't they? He has handled his entire campaign like an entertainer.

You guys really saying that us citizens should talk about politics?

some interesting takes on this FBI thing. a few are even saying it's a net positive for Hillary. think of it this way -- every piece of your laundry has been put out for everyone to see, and there was almost nothing. so almost nothing that it's boring (63% of people saying they're tired of hearing about it).

now someone has snuck back in to steal more laundry. one of two things happen: either they find something awful (unlikely), or there is more of the same in that laundry. everyone who paid attention the first time is a) tired of people stealing laundry, and b) even more convinced you're hiding nothing.

what I'm saying is that crooked Hillary is the one who convinced Comey to do this, knowing it would help her campaign. /sarcasm

but honestly, it looks like it was a whole lot of hype for trump to salivate after. he sounds more and more ridiculous every time he talks about a private email server being the #1 security threat to this country.

I think it can definitely be a threat when a presidential candidate openly encourages Russia and China to hack and find e-mails from a government employee that could possibly contain national secrets.

Yea I feel it won't be enough to make any difference at the end. Almost all people have made up their minds no matter how much they call themselves independent. They have gravitated more to one candidate already but they are just fooling themselves at the end.

I know they said that the attorney general is mad at the decision to make this public at this time so he might be doing his last job honestly. Especially it's it's proven to be a whole lot of nothing.

Funny part is that Comey being this transparent is partly due to the AG meeting w/ Bill Clinton on that tarmac.

On this letter, he would've been raked over the coals regardless. Right/left talking heads will always have their reasons to be upset.

Plenty of Rs were insinuating corruption since he didn't prosecute, imagine info leaking later that he kept this under the rug until post-election?

Now I see people like Howard Dean tweeting that "Comey put himself on the same side as Putin"

It's ridiculous.

The FBI don't even have legal authority to read the emails on Huma's PC yet.

Word is many Republicans in the FBI are pissed at Comey because he just made the FBI look partisan, which they try their best not to appear.

The Putin remark is silly, but you're kinda misrepresenting what he said though.Dean said "ironically Comey put myself on the same side as Putin".
He is making an observation, not an accusation.

Anyway Comey had no good reason to write the letter, and put his reputation above standard procedure and good judgment.

Either way his career might be done. If Clinton wins, she will get rid of him first chance she gets, if Trump wins and is thanking him constantly for helping, and nothing comes of it (which nothing probably will the the 7478646420th time the Clinton's been look into) then the reputation of the FBI is tarnished. Others in the bureau would want him out.

Observation, accusation, whatever, I'm not misrepresenting what he said. It was a ridiculous comment considering the rhetoric regarding Russia this election cycle. That's just one of many (not from Dean particularly, but in general).

And that's exactly my point, these sorts of comments were going to be thrown at Comey from either side. Whether he "updated" the status of their investigation now or later.

Even, the "inside the FBI, agents are upset" storyline is exactly the kind of stuff the right was talking about after his decision not to prosecute. Hell, some are even suggesting that this move was made to please those dissenters.

Really the only way Comey could have avoided being in the spotlight was to sit on this, and hope nothing significant came of it. But then he ran the risk of something actually being there, or leaking, and the FBI reputation would be tarnished.

Wasnt Bill Clinton friends with Epstein too?

which makes it okay?

"you're a rapist"

"aren't you a rapist too?"

that....makes you....less of a rapist?

that makes....rape okay?

this is trump supporter logic.

do not address that he is a child rapist.....

instead......

deflect to hilary via bill.

for the 100th time, i don't even like hilary clinton.

at this point, she's the only way to stop trump.

she adopted half of bernie's platform (who i voted for)

so it's a win-win.

(furthermore, trump was named as one of the people epstein was funneling underaged girls to...in a lawsuit....the lawsuit against him was filed by a woman who claims epstein introduced them for solicitation for sex. for all we know trump introduced bill to epstein....maybe bill introduced epstein to donald...either way, bill doesn't have a pending child rape case filed by a woman who epstein introduced him to.....you could have used critical thinking to come to this point yourself, but, no, you rely on someone else's intellect to explain these logical things to you in a "got cha" effort. )

also, lol @ spoiled health insurance company CEOs saying "obamacare is failing. we have to raise premiums" instead of what they REALLY mean "we aren't making as much profit off of human suffering as we have grown accustomed to because we have to allow sick people to buy our insurance now, instead of hustling healthy people by ONLY signing them up....so we're raising the premiums"

it's all obama's fault.

corporate greed and profiting off human suffering is all obama's fault.

"my job wont provide me healthcare, and i can't afford to get obamacare"

but you're against the minimum wage.

and voting for trump.

LULZ

it's not your monster of a boss's fault your job won't endorse your health.....

it's not the monster of a ceo's fault his corporate greed forced him to raise the premiums so high you can't afford it, cause, what, was HE gonna take the loss?

it's not the pharma company's fault they charge literally 400% markups on your oh-so-important, dire need for heartburn medication (you could also stop eating chilli cheese dogs)

nah, it's obama's fault.

THANKS A LOT, BARACK.

No the FBI reputation is that of being nonpartisan, not considering both sides, not trying to say out of the spotlight. If Comey had just followed precedent and standard procedure, no matter how much the GOP complain, he could have point to "That's how the FBI does things". He can not do in this case because he decide to use his judgment and go a different route.

This "he would have been hammer anyway" argument doesn't whole any weight when one course of action would be in line with how the FBI usually handles things. The FBI is not here to consider both parties, so Comey doesn't have a leg to stand on with this move.

- Also The GOP wanted the FBI to be partisan and land them a political win with a recommendation to indict. While in this case people are upset he didn't follow procedure.

Acting like it goes both ways, like the left is acting exactly how the right did in July, is making a false equivalency.

LMAO

typical mediocre white male ****.

this 60 year old former aide is threatening physical violence on people voting democrat LMAOOOOOO

and likely locks his doors when teenage black girls walk past.

what am i saying

he prolly can't even drive.

he's prolly the real life version of the aide on veep, just lamer and more racist.

700

my mog super proud he fetched ron paul's coffee and newspapers

You're misreading or misinterpreting the tweet. He is encouraging Dem voters to vote early to avoid crazy Trump supporters. He wants Trump to lose. He is trying to offer helpful advice to Dem voters

He is a former GOP aide that hates the current GOP. When he says he wants them to go the way to the Whigs he means he wants the party to split, and the racist to kicked out.
