Republicans should be asking themselves how they lost the election because if they chose Kasich, with how disliked Hilary is he would have won easily. But hey, I like what is happening to that party now and I hope it does split into 2. You sleep in the bed you make for yourself.

Damn. Went up to 30 percent. Effing fbi, couldn't leave things well alone [emoji]128557[/emoji]

It's not that hard to keep quiet until a full investigation is completed. At the very worst case scenario, after a nice and thorough investigation is completed, in December or whatever,if you need to jail Hilary then you impeach the president if you have to, so as long as you don't pull **** like this to influence an election

If you have to impeach Hilary for something shady, then at least we get Kaine (or is it Obama?) in office. But at least it's not ****** Trump

Comey and the fellow crooked FBI officials who want The Bigot to win the election have mistimed their loud bark, no bite publication of these "new" Weiner e-mails. Being old, they are unfamiliar with just how fast things go in the modern world and the impact of the story is already losings its punch, because people are starting to see that there is nothing to these e-mails.

Should've waited 2-3 days before the election for maximum impact of misleading the people. Better luck at connivingly manipulating the results of the next election, fellas.

Why does the FBI want The Bigot to win over HRC?

When Bill McAnulty, an elections board chairman in a mostly white North Carolina county, agreed in July to open a Sunday voting site where black church members could cast ballots after services, the reaction was swift: he was labeled a traitor by his fellow Republicans.

"I became a villain, quite frankly," recalled McAnulty at a state board of elections meeting in September that had been called to resolve disputes over early voting plans. "I got accused of being a traitor and everything else by the Republican Party," McAnulty said.

Following the blowback from Republicans, McAnulty later withdrew his support for the Sunday site.

Dems need NC to secure the election?

can't wait to skip right over the presidential candidates and worry about getting McCrory outta office.

I thought they would be interested in those email revelations.

http://www.newsobserver.com/news/politics-government/article111851272.html

More Democrats have taken part in early voting in North Carolina than Republicans by a double-digit margin, but the number of Democrats who have voted is lower than it was at this point four years ago.

During the first 12 days of early voting this year, 1,872,708 ballots have been accepted – 9 percent more than the same period in 2012.
Unaffiliated voters are responsible for that growth. The number of unaffiliated voters in the state now nearly matches the number of registered Republicans – 2,050,663 unaffiliated voters compared to 2,067,392 Republicans.

Bitzer said Republicans are leading among mail-in ballots, as they have in previous years, although he noted that their numbers are “substantially down” from the same period in 2012

Before Ninjahood comes out here with his misinformation nonsense about how the lower turnout of blacks is because of disinterest in Hillary, I just want to post this reminder:

http://articles.latimes.com/2013/jun/25/nation/la-na-court-voting-rights-20130626

It was in 2013 (after the reelection Obama) that the supreme court struck down the federal oversight provision of the voting rights act of 1965, which allowed 9 former segregationist states to implement what are now known as voter ID laws.

I went to vote early yesterday... Lots of crusty old WPs... I was a lil surprised a how kinda angry they looked... It was such a nice day, sunny, 70 degrees, nothing to look morose about... :smh:

Voted Democrat on every portion of the ballet...

5 MORE DAYS!!!

5 more days and its over. The world will be right again and a clown like Trump will not have at a chance at being president. VOTE!!!

Nope. Dems don't need NC, but Trump needs NC and a bunch of other states that are currently leaning Democrat just to have a chance. However, Dems winning NC likely means Hillary wins the election.

Based on solidly Democratic states, Hillary already has 272 votes, enough to win. That does not include North Carolina, Nevada, Florida, or Ohio, all of which are about 50/50 right now. However, it does include Colorado and New Hampshire, which are still predicted in every model to go to Hillary.

If NC goes to Hillary, it's practically impossible for her to lose as she could lose Colorado and New Hampshire and still win the election (NC is 15 electoral votes while CO is 9 and NH is 4). Trump needs to win NC, Nevada, Florida, Ohio, CO, and NH. There are also the handful of traditional Republican states that he is at risk of losing that he has to hold on to to have a chance.

The world we are living in. I am happy to be around, and then to be able comment among such well read people. You know who you are. Those of you who post articles that you obviously do not read, those who insist upon keeping your head in the sand, please continue to do so, evolution will leave you behind. Perhaps some of you have never thought to be on the right side of history, seeing that candidates like Trump are filled with nothing but hot air. Students of history understand that this sort of person comes around every so often in order to save western civilization. Trump reminds me of two people from history. Joseph McCarthy, and Charles Couglin. Couglin lived to be 88 years old, which is interesting because McCarthy drank himself to death at 48. Both were considered an embarrassment due to the public positions they held, but both used the same tactics in order to create outrage as does Trump. Funny thing is, Trump's idol, Roy Cohn worked for Joe McCarthy. Roy Cohn was a nasty piece of work, hated homosexuals even though he was a closeted homosexual himself, Cohn died of HIV related complications while Trump was building casinos in Atlantic City. So it can be said that Trump's path does not look to be a very good one, considering his choices. I say those of us who have a clue, really have nothing to worry about. However those who are behind Donald Trump will have a very different awakening.

I've found out a few very well educated and nice people i know are going to vote for trump. The main reason seems to be that they hate Hillary. Absolutely hate her and also vote repubican in general. They basically seem to be voting against the status quo and feel that the system is broken. These are people doing relatively well financially.

What surprised me most was one said if bernie was running against trump he would have votes for Bernie. Whole election is causing friction in the workplace at times.

Well educated does not mean smart.

as pointed out in here a while ago (i think by Rex), those who are doing well financially and who benefit from white male privilege have nothing to lose with a Trump presidency. they enjoy a socioeconomic cushion.

for many others, though, voting trump just to spite the clintons is not something they can afford to do.
