Ninja was talking about NAMBLA. And I do not have any problem with opposing views. You and Ninja may fall into the category of bigotry and racism but that does not mean I think everyone with opposing views is in that category. At least I would hope not. Certain discussions turn into "lectures" to you because you are not educated on the subject matter. If I started engaging in discussions about US economics I would hope that somebody puts me back in my place until I educate myself on the matter. And throughout my posting history in this thread I've certainly needed that several times, especially at first. But I took the lectures and made an effort to learn more, after all I have an abundance of time to do so.

You don't need to think like me or anyone else, but you complain about being shunned from certain discussions so I'm telling you why that is and what you can do to improve. Rico and I disagree on just about everything but I don't mind arguing with him. He's a whole lot more willing to have a reasonable discussion than either of you two combined.

 See this is where your superiority complex becomes unbearable and I stop responding to you for good.

Your ninja obsession where you burst in every few threads and say " lets all remember this is the guy that said..." and then attack his views on slavery and politics, when in reality you are just fuming over his lbgtq+ stance, is obvious and creepy.

You are not telling me how to improve,  you are telling me how to make friends on NT.

These folks really have nothing better to deal with? I'm sure that's more of a pressing concern to everyday Russians than economic hardships....

Looks like there might actually be a candidate on the left that could have a chance at stopping a right wing sweep in the next French general elections.

Manuel Valls just resigned from his post as PM to announce his candidacy for the party's nomination which is gonna be decided next month. There's still other candidates but he's by far the highest profile one with the most support seeing as most of the French left seems to be rallying around him. Most opinion polls leading up to today hadn't given the left any shot in the upcoming election but with the arrival of a relatively young and charismatic populist candidate on the left,who knows what'll happen.

If this year has taught us anything,it's that polls don't mean a damn thing

Anthony Scaramucci, a senior advisor on the Trump transition team, told a group of business leaders convened at a bipartisan meeting by the group No Labels that President-elect Donald Trump is a free-trader who is looking to make trade deals more fair, not scrap them.

“I don’t think we’re looking to rip up NAFTA as much as we are looking to right-size it and make it fairer,” Scaramucci said Monday. “He’s got a great relationship, by the way, with the Mexican president. They talk regularly,” referring to Trump and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto.

Scaramucci said part of his role with Trump’s economic team has been to study the impact of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which Trump has called “the worst trade deal maybe ever signed anywhere.”

“I don’t think anybody in the administration from the top to the bottom is looking for protectionism.
