We differ wildly on political opinion and he / she resorts to sensationalized rhetoric and unfounded accusations so I'd prefer to have less interaction ...

As I said before, once you post in a thread the thread is automatically "watch"-ed and thus it shows up in your "alerts" when anyone posts in any of they threads you "watch"
You have to "unwatch" threads after posting to avoid that notification
It is not surprising that you are here as often as you are and don't know this

And just FYI because it actually seems like YOU dont know what you're doing despite being here all the time - you can turn off the "watching" option globally in your settings so you dont have to do it to every thread you post in ... You're welcome ...

I'm not American to be part of "the left" you seemingly want to demonize as if you're bill o'reily, which I've also stated before.. pointing out blatant human rights atrocities actually goes to couple of things I picked up in my time spent in church, bible study, hearing about the works of religion and reading the Bible
I've also stated that I want to support what republicans traditionally want to claim they stand for because traditionally that benefits my country and profession.. but that has long been gone with the catering to the stupids and crazies
And my political beliefs are moderate, some things I'm more liberal others I'm more conservative and others I simply don't care

I don’t know about other forums, but NT Left comes pretty well informed and well sourced. Some people on the opposite side die as well. But What gets the insults flying is when NT Right tries to come with the Ben Shapiro tactics and ignore, shift and change arguments. Ignoring context an nuance, focusing at one point ignoring others trying to force some contradiction that only exists in twisting peoples words and logic. It would be a whole lot more civil without the intellectual dishonesty.
