The democrats got a long term problem with their populist voters. It just isn't as pronounced because of the republican dumpster fire. But trust they have serious issues too. Clinton is a pretty bad candidate. Noone stays in power forever. Watching trump go against her is gonna be surreal.

I know this but there's nobody running for liberal progressive voters to abandon the candidates for the party.

Bernie isn't that guy.

Also when that person does show up and run it's pretty unlikely they're gonna be a non-liberal/non-progressive. Voters are unhappy cuz they want the candidate to be even more left wing.

To be clear I'm not including independents who are coming out to vote for Bernie or Trump. That's a different issue altogether with those ppl not voting/feeling like they're not represented.
