But then people would have to choose watching the testimonies over the new episode of whatever people watch on television these days and I don't think Americans want to watch the full proceedings and rather watch the highlights.

We have witnesses who have testified there was no quid pro quo. And we have one witness that has testified there was.

We have no witness that directly links the president to an order to investigate the Bidens for political purposes in exchange for javelins.

One of the witnesses who testified that there was no quid pro quo blatantly lied under oath, magically refreshing his memory after he realized other witnesses cornered him. He then testified there was in fact a quid pro quo and refused to say whether he believed Trump when he dictated the "no quid pro quo" message to send to Bill Taylor.


Kurt Volker also appears to have lied in his deposition.
He testified that during the scheme, he was never aware of the link between Biden and the investigation demand. So in Volker's view, Burisma is just a Ukrainian gas company.
And yet, Volker agreed in mid August that the drafted statement should not explicitly mention Burisma because he believed it could be seen as interfering in the 2020 US election. Volker clearly knew of the link to Biden, otherwise he couldn't have linked a random Ukrainian gas company to the 2020 US election.

In Volker's next opening statement for his public testimony, he tries to clean up the lie and omits the part where he linked Burisma to the US election.

Mick Mulvaney explicitly linked holding up the aid to the demands for the investigations and then told the public to "get over it."

Witness Tim Morrison testified that there was no quid pro quo but his testimony laid out all elements of one.
For example, he testified that Sondland told him on September 7 that the hold on the aid would be released if Zelensky committed to publicly announcing the Biden and 2016 investigations.

The next day, Sondland told Bill Taylor that Zelensky was going to bow to Giuliani and Trump's demands. Zelensky told Sondland in the call that he would make the statement during a CNN interview scheduled for September 13. By the time Zelensky caved in, the Ukrainians were aware of the hold on the aid and were unable to get a straight answer from anyone about the reason. The Ukrainians are not idiots, they can add 1+1.

A few days after Sondland secured the commitment from Zelensky, the hold on the aid was released. By then the WH had also fully reviewed the content of the whistleblower complaint. They released the hold on the aid only after they knew someone was blowing the whistle and shortly after they had gotten Zelensky to commit to making the public statement.

Holmes describes Sondland's call to Trump, where Trump asks "so, he's gonna do the investigation?"
Sondland replied that Zelensky would do so.

After the call, Holmes questions Sondland about his conversation with Trump. Sondland replied that Trump didn't give a **** about Ukraine and only cared about "the Biden investigation" Giuliani was pushing. Giuliani has repeatedly confirmed that he was pushing for Ukraine to investigate the Bidens, and he also repeatedly stated that "everything [he] did" was for president Trump.
Trump referenced Biden several times in the July 25 call and has also openly called for China to investigate the Bidens.

One of Giuliani's henchmen, after ditching the lawyer Trump personally signed off on despite claiming he doesn't know Parnas, now says he told the Ukrainians in May that if they didn't investigate the Bidens, US aid would be frozen and Mike Pence would not attend the inauguration. The aid ended up being frozen and Pence did not attend.
