I’m not black but I was hoping every black Georgian would come out and vote to turn this thing blue ALL THE WAY BLUE. I, my wife, mom, dad, stepmom, and grandma all did our part. I think my brother may have voted republican but idk for sure yet. I went to vote in person and was happy to see a lot of black people at the polls. VERY HAPPY. I knew then that we had a great shot at achieving this result. Hopefully Georgia will stay blue going forward. The Republican Party is only for the rich and it constantly amazes me to see how many low income Georgians are republican. It’s sad how many people’s political ideologies are influenced by the idiots they’re around. The propaganda and Faux News garbage is eaten up down here. So many don’t think for themselves and it’s both sad and enraging. I don’t believe my Uncle has ever had an original thought or political stance in his entire life.
I’m happy as hell right now. The only thing that could have been better would be Bernie taking office on the 20th. Bernie stood for REAL change. Let’s hope some of Bernie’s philosophies really did rub off onto Biden. We NEED a HUGE change. Radical even, to counteract decades of trickle down economics that didn’t trickle, the enormous income gap and endangered middle class that’s almost extinct, a federal minimum wage that did NOT rise to accommodate inflation and cost of living.

Still a 50-50 split with Kamala as a tiebreaker so passing sweeping changes isn’t going to be easy in all cases.
