***Official Political Discussion Thread***

The dude continued to respond "Sure, kommie" to tons of different people on Twitter. These people are actually delusional

After everyone involved, from the airport to the team, confirmed that it was the Gonzaga team. It gotta feel different when lying or just being flat out wrong isn’t an issue for you.

You can't separate the conservative movement from the purpose its founders infused in it: to keep Black people at the lowest level on the totem pole of American society, and keep White men at the top.

For all of these people who keep being surprised on Twitter about the true beliefs of conservative opinion makers, there should be an automatic note that includes a picture of "Caste" and bookstore link to it.

I hate Adams, but to be honest he doesn't come off as bad as people are making out it be from what I have seen.

In fact when I first heard about it is because my aunt (centrist liberal) and cousin (leftist liberal) call me for my opinion, they both hate dude but both hand wildly different takes on the interview.

He is too combative, needlessly punched left, and self aggrandizing in some areas, but he made many good points. Especially on the migrant crisis

I would bet if you play that video for a lot of Dem voters, especially older black folk, they would think he sounds very good. My aunt did.

And to be honest, props to him for sitting down for such and interview.

Whoever "loans" him the money (if someone does) basically will own him. But its like burning money cause he wont be president and will never pay it back

Basically, it's like early modern Europe where an up and coming banking family would "lend" money to the one of great dynasties, particularly the Habsburgs or the Bourbons. Officially, it was a loan that would be paid back but in practice, that "loan" was gift/bribe that would never be paid back not in money but would be paid back in terms of influence and prestige.

Whoever bails out Donald Trump will own him, the way the Fuggers owned the Habsburgs.

Everyone's Favorite Mayor™ got torched on The Breakfast Club by one of his critics.

Eric Adams is fascinating and he's actually ahead of his time.

In the short term, the main conflict is between a pluralist society on the one hand and a retvrn to a totally white dominated society on the other. IMO, the former will prevail. What comes after will be a fight between multi racial socialism and multi racial fascism.

Historically the newly arrived middle class are the most reactionary elements in a society. They know how much it sucks to toil and get almost nothing in return and they will move Heaven and Earth to save their kids from the fate of the common proletarian worker.

I could imagine a situation where white middle class home owners no longer derive prestige from being white but they are still homeowners/small business owners and they will make common cause with upwardly mobile Black and Latino home/business owners. This will be especially acute as the fortunes of the the working class decline ever more in the face of mounting economic and ecological crises. In other words "MY kids wont be picking crops in 120 degree heat with a fire raging and raining down lung destroying ash nearby but 'illegals' will" thus spoke every middle class Latina Oxnard mom, circa 2030.

Eric Adams provides a model for rainbow fascism. The idea is that the state will back existing business hegemons, make poverty illegal (aka. throwing unhoused people in concentration camps), remove protections for vulnerable workers, and establish a patronage networks in order to secure work in an air conditioned office (which will be a highly sough after in the 2030's even in places that do not currently need air conditioning).

Eric Adams is just a taste of what is to come and in 10 years, we'll be wishing that all be have to contend with is Eric Adams.
