OFFICIAL STOCK MARKET AND ECONOMY THREAD VOL. A NEW CHAPTER

The potential for growth for Uber is there. Freight, private planes, health etc. I just dont know if they'll ever venture into those parts.

Private planes? They already do helicopters at a MAJOR loss.

I think helicopters is such a bad move. Nowhere near as much demand, no "elite" status the way private plane ride sharing would be, destinations/distance is lacking, safety, etc. Idk why they got into that.

I think freight/moving would be profitable.

I also heard they might get into health. In terms of delivering medications through pharmacies and digital/mail order pharmacies (10% of the market) and MAYBE weed when that gets federally legalized.

There is already weed delivery and those services have failed.

When your core business model is broken - I can’t invest - maybe there’s an opportunity to trade it but I’m not getting into bed with it.

Their product team really needs a WAR games at the end of year fiscal - you come out of it so much stronger.

I don’t invest in them. They also seem to dominate the East coast. Could be a geographic thing too. I know they literally almost took yellow taxis out of business here in NYC. Very very few use Lyft, Via, etc. Maybe just focus on your strengths and maximize that?

Having their drivers as salaried employees soon like proposed might actually backfire.

The problem with west coast weed delivery services is they all get bought out after a couple of years. No dominant trusted one, as far as I know. Too much competition from start ups.

They’re selling down losing divisions in order to become profitable. I’m looking at them similar to gogo honestly. Dash has been super rewarding with just delivery, I wonder if Uber eats has a similar take rate. I haven’t lined those two up yet.
