Total Recall is such a Great Film.
I remember watching Sharon Stone thinking she's the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen.
Even finer than Wendy and Lisa(PRINCE's guitarists).
Finer than Sheila E.
I was such a little twerp.
I remember seeing those TV's on the wall and thinking that was impossible and would never happen.
Same thing with the Cars that drover themselves, I used to think "no way in hell"
The metal detectors that showed XRAY of your body when you walked through the hall.


Big time nostalgia.

like the redesign of sonic and jim carrey was doing his usual theatrics

just read they did 70M at the box during the long weekend

I don’t think I saw any commercials either, but there have been billboards for it all over my parts of LA for a while.

Commercials were probably airing on places like Nickelodeon and Disney.

Twilight came on TV and my son is into it. I’m going to assume it’s because he’s sick and not thinking straight and not because I did something wrong in raising him.

I enjoyed parts of the 1st Twilight movie. The town it was set in was cool. Reminds me of the towns I grew up in. Soundtrack is good. Put a lot of people on to Claire de Lune, which is never a bad thing.

Then it was a decent angsty, high school love story.

yes it was corny, but wasn’t the original budget like $500 and a pack of skittles or something like that?

i think people hate it more than it’s deserved because it got mad popular.

Yeah, I wouldn’t say its a poorly made movie. I can see why it hit with its target demo, but its way angsty for my taste. I’ve never been an angsty dude, even as a teenager. Plus, I find Kristen Stewart annoying. Only thing I ever liked her in was Panic Room and she was tolerable in Adventureland. So, all that considered, Twilight probably gets more hate than it deserves.
