Thor is such a higher quality film than Green Lantern, stop that CP.
Why? What makes Thor sooooo much better? I went over this with Prime yesterday, and he brought up the dialogue, but imo GL isn't all that different. The stuff where he goes into Senestro's joint with those old dudes, and starts tellin them to face their fears, and that's how they will overcome, and that's what makes them stronger than evil etc etc, is no different than the "lessons" Thor learned while on Earth as a normal person.
Both are full of spacey type stuff that you have to ignore as a viewer. Both had their own brand of sly humor, but nothing over the top. So really, how is it all that much better?
Is Thor better overall? Sure, probably, but as I said to him, it's not like we're talkin The Dark Knight vs Fantastic Four here, these two are neck and neck imo. But overall, people LOVED Thor, and @#$% all over Green Lantern, I just don't get why.
I got Triangle on DVR last night, I'll get to either that or Columbiana tonight.
With all the ones mentioned by me, Nos, and Kev, should we put some sort of list together of all of the best/most needed to be watched? Top 25 or something, a starters guide for the guys sayin they haven't entered the genre much yet? I'd place that list in the TOC of we come up with a definitive one.
