P90X Discussion

What time do you guys do your workouts?

I just got a job for the summer, typical 9-5. I hate working out in the evenings. But yes, Day 1 of Week 2 for me.

COME ON GUYS! UPDATE. DON'T QUIT. BRING IT!

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been up and down with my posts. Anyways. Today was Plyometrics yet again! Only this time it was MUCH easier. My shin splints weregone because of all the stretching I did the previous week. I am confused though. Some days I feel and look very fit and some days I feel out of shape again.Last week I was waking up feeling skinner everyday. Now I am feeling the same and back to clunky. I am working very hard and trying my best. I started takingprotein today. I should have paid the extra $30 and got ispopure but I payed $18 and got regular whey protein with 18 grams of protein. It should be good formornings and after my workouts. Tomorrow is shoulders and arms and I am HAPPY. I love working out arms. I want to tone them out so I don't know if I shouldstick to 15's or go get heavier ones. I also wonder if I should have gotten lower in my squats today because I am not feeling sore or tired right now.haha. It may be that I am progressing.

MY diet has been ok. No junk food, fast food. Breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinners and protein. A lot of water. Need to add vegetables because I am eating a lotof frutis. I will also get some protein bars this week.

One thing about this program is my concern about chest. I have a rather flabby chest and don't feel as if I get enough of a chest workout. Yes, we do a lotof pushups on day 1 but I do not think that is enough to get it yoked how I want. We shall see. As of right now I am trusting the program and waiting to seewhat happens. According to my video I guess people see results. We shall see.

After I am done with black powder I am going to NO Explode and Syntha6. Aright bye guys.

Why Syntha6? Don't you find it high in calories? Isn't two scoops with milk like 500 Calories? (in addition to whatever you mix with it)

Finally started up.... Day 1 complete.

It was a lot more intense than I expected, I couldn't get off the ground for almost 5 minutes after I finished.

Im following the diet and not pausing the dvd as much as possible.

I'll keep updating as I go and i'll post pics later.

Finally people are replying. So today is week 2 day 3. I'll do it later on considering I just hiked up Mission Peak which is one of the highest hills inFremont. I'll post pics of that adventure later. I was thinking syntha6 because it is a bsn product and so is NO Explode. I'ma probably do isopure.651akathePaul come on man keep it up. Don't quit. Sole vintage good job. I'm on same day as you. MikeScarn congrats. Welcome to the journey.

if i want to gain more mass but be fit, is p90x a good work out regime for me? or is this more of a slimming and toning program?
i'm pretty skinny, sitting at 5'9 155 lbs.

i was doing curls and when he said you need to squeeze your bicep when you reach the top i did and popped a vein in my eye

Couldn't do week 2 day 2 due to my kitchen rehabilitation...

However, jumped back into it yesterday with day 3.

Today's yoga will be interesting, I cut it short last week since we started it at 9:30pm.

Diet has been pretty good too, I definitely feel better overall and am seeing some transformation.

The wall sitting was a great joy that brought me back to high school and jr. high basketball practice.

651akathePaul come on man keep it up. Don't quit.
I got you...No quittin' here. I've been on a boxing tip lately though. Been slapping the heavy bag and jumping rope...I'll be back atthe P90x here this weekend.

im going start this program again, lately, been running and trying to get my wind first. have an injured hand so i'll see how far i can push myself...

hopefully i can stick with this more than a 2 weeks this time, lol

but i did feel the results, albeit, it was only a couple wks

Finished Yoga today of Week 2.

I wonder how next week we'll be when I start my 8-4 job. I'll be working out in the 5-8 time slots. I hope I don't feel tired, haha.

Praise. Keep up the good work man.
