Pacman suspended Indefinitely...ESPN NEWS reports...

If anything, the Dallas organization has failed in getting him some help b/c he seriously needs help as do A LOT of professional athletes and they simply are not getting it.
grin.gif
Putting this on the organization... What would you have liked them to do? Jerry can't hold his hand and escort him everywhere he goes...

And
laugh.gif
@ playing the race card... Was Larry Johnson suspended for hitting a woman for the third or fourth time in his career? Leonard Little for killing awoman while driving drunk? I swear, some people look for reasons to cry race...

yeah youre right it might not be race, just that "thug image" cuz you know marvin harrison shot at someone and hes as white as they come for a blackman and didnt get a suspension ... im telling yall GOoDell is just a power hungry dude trying to set an example

I love how a black player who is a normal citizen (Harrison) is as "white as they come."

If you are going to keep comparin Jones to other player situations you are going to probably burst. Face it there really is no comparison and much like lifethe NFL isnt always fair.

I got a thought....stay out of trouble and you dont have to worry about getting ANY punishment. It works for 95% of the NFL players.

doublejs, what in all bloody hell are you talking about? Pacman locked DOWN in the skins game ...

The hell u talking about? He got little to NO PT on defense...the only time he was on TV was when he got facemasked and the refs missed the call.

carlos rogers? LMAO dude has dropped more picks than pacmans been thrown at

I don't care how many picks he's dropped this season...he's been blanketing dudes all year.

Dallas folk actin like this guy wearin number 21 has the last name Sanders on the back.

I give credit to Dirk for accepting that Pac ain't worth sh*^.

I've seen every snap from the Cowboys this season and I can't list 2 plays where I thought to myself "wow, nice play by Pac".

Now to be fair, I have counted all that many times where I could say he was toasted either. He's been merely an average CB for them this season. Losinghim means nothing to anybody but his fan boys.

how are you average if you dont get burnt? i dont understand that ... thats your job

if you are a fan of the cowboys and you dont realize what pacman has done for us these first 6 games you dont know football ... i can understand other fansbecause maybe they havent watched the games but damn he has been our best secondary player

And that's not saying much. That's the point. No reason to gas dude because he's the best scrub of the bunch.

Man this is bias. And ESPN is just playing to Goodell. Its crap. Im not even going to get started on the R word, but some of yall know what it is.

No. You know damn well that's not what it is.

Dude, I am a die hard Cowboys fan, but Pacman has not been that great. I expected him to contribute most this season on punt returns and he hasbeen mediocre at best on those.

As for playing corner, he has basically played sub par. I think Jenkins and Scandrick have played just as good and they arent the headache that Pacman is.

To me, is was a nice experiment to try out, and it didnt work. Time to move this team on without Pacman. This incident only puts him further behind in tryingto regain his old form

As much as I never agree with him, Mark Schlereth just hit the nail on the head... Adam Jones loves the extracurricular activities that come with being aprofessional athlete than he does being an NFL player...

You can't trust him. You can't rely on him. Get him out of the locker room... The experiment was worth it, but PacMan blew it...

You're gonna start this "You don't know football!" crap again?

The tallest ****** in the room is still a ******...

The rewards weren't outweighing the headaches. Period.

our d coordinator has been boring as hell on defense with blitz schemes and creating pressure ... we dont have a bunch of scrubs in our secondary,we just have a very bad overall pass defense ... pass defense doesnt just consist of the secondary, it consists of the entire defense defending the pass ...that means getting pressure on the qb and linebackers covering as well ... we just cant cover the pass as a whole defense ... that being said, pacman was theonly bright spot in man coverage this year and he will be greatly missed

hasnt been great? HE IS THE PERSON WHO WAS ASKED TO COVER CHAD JOHNSON AND LARRY FITZGERALD one on one with no help on numerous occasions ... notto mention newman gave up 3 tds in one game against the skins ...

we have one of the worst special teams in football as far as scheme goes ... its not a mystery why we cant cover kicks or punts or return anything save forfelix's one return which was more a product of his talent and the eagles inability to cover than us blocking well ...

i refuse to believe the experiment is over ... jerry knows how bad we need him even if you guys dont see it ... we are playing the rams this week with henryand jenkins starting at corner with scandrick and ball coming in ... that screams drop back and throw on us ... thats why we got a receiver cuz its not like weare gonna stop anyone ...

The rewards weren't outweighing the headaches. Period.
what headaches? the big ole headache he gave jerry when he ALLOWED HIM TO GO TO THE HOTEL, and then after the "incident" the big oleheadache he gave jerry when JERRY INVESTIGATED AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG? ... get real, pacman will be out there for the game after the skins as long as GOoDelllifts the suspension

So youve never committed a crime in your entire life and youre on a short leash??????
Stop bringing up old $+@ players that weren't playing under Goodell's reign as President. Were talking about right now.
As of right now, to this day, Pacman Jones fought with a security guard. That warrants 4 games? Honestly.

I dont even like the guy. I think its a idiot. And I dont think hes that great of a talent, but Ill be honest and say I havent watched much of his career, withboth dallas and tenn.

But this is ridiculous. What has the man honestly done? A fight? That wasn't even on the field. Is this the NFL or not?

Wait , let me edit. I didnt talk about Harrison. And youre right about that. That seems to be going down as "self defense" Even still it seems asthough certain stories are hushed up and certain stories are played to death on ESPN, and I think that has a great deal to do with how Pacman is beingpercieved. And because we hear his name everytime he blinks, or thinks about spending a dollar, seems that everyone automatically assumes hes a criminal.

its not a mystery ... these petty fines for simple celbrations are just a micrcosm of the image GOoDell wants to portray (and Pacmans situation) ... deseanjackson posing with his teammate 15 grand ... really? really? or is it two young "thug types" drawing attention their style ... why does GOoDellthink fans want to see people throw the ball to the ref and ryun off the field? I want to be entrtained no matter who im watching and after a play if someonewants to back flip then so be it ... lets not get all rod tidwell on it but damn let the dudes live a little ...

that being said, what does GOoDell expect from Pac? honestly, hes never been convicted and he gets a year ban ... then dude cant even go to a strip club oreven a hooters lol cuz of jerry ... what the hell does GOoDell want him to do? he got into a confrontation ... so be it ... he drank some liquor (if he did) sobe it ... 4 games cuz he had a few drinks and started tustlin with his homie ... g t f

Exactly Lil Star. I just dont get it. What did he do that was so bad? When did he become the grinch that stole football?

Look I know full well that pass defense is everybody from the pressure you put on the QB to the linebackers bein in the right spots, but if I'm notmistaken, Ware has been doin just fine, Ratliff has been so good that Tank can't get on the field, Zach has been a surprise thus far has he not? Spencer's been playin well, you guys have a bunch of front 7 guys makin plays. But the secondary? Not so much. One thing I have noticed is this, sinceRoy went down, I can't remember seeing anybody beat you guys deep. Weird huh?
laugh.gif

And I also know that stats don't always show a whole picture, a guy can get 4 picks and everyone thinks he's great, but really, the QB just made a badread and hit dude in the hands, pick for him. Did he make a great play, or did the QB make a terrible throw? So we all agree stats can be misleading, but asI've stated, I haven't seen pac make any plays whatsoever that made me think he is a must have on their D. Doesn't mean he's the worst CB inthe game, but he is certainly the most overrated. Just my opinion man. Who knows, maybe this will give Jenkins a chance to shine and see how far he'scome along.

I've seen every snap from the Cowboys this season and I can't list 2 plays where I thought to myself "wow, nice play by Pac".
See what many people fail to realize is that a CB's job is not to make you say wow....Picks are great...but most importantly, the job of a CBis to keep the WR you are covering from catching balls. I can't speak for the rest of the games...but Pac did as good a job as someone his size could doagainst Fitz.

I didn't say pick, I said "nice play" A play that stands out whether it's batting a ball down, making an open feild tackle on arunning back, a big hit, hell, a nice block if one of his teammates makes an interception. Again, i didn't say pick. But I haven't seen any specialplays from any of those other possibilties either.

all im saying is, pacman has been more than i could have asked for ... what was the consensus when he came here ... ... ... ill wait ... ... ... that he wasaverage at best at corner and electric on returns ... well guess what, our special teams sucks and we have a bunch of pansy people like bobby carpenterblocking for him and hes not making big returns ... but at corner, dude has been waaaaay above average ... its not like ima pacman stan, if anyone on thecowboys is sucking (ANTHONY HENRY YOU PUNK MOTHER) i am quick to throw dirt and scream to pull them ... but pacman is playing like a starter ... how soonpeople forget the first drive at legendary lambeau field where erin rogers hits a few passes and it looks like their O is gonna steamroll us, they run a simple26 and pacman comes in with a shoulder and forces a fumble, picks it up and runs it back to the 20 ... set the damn TONE for us ... im telling you he is thebest we have in that secondary including terrence newman and including ken hamlin and roy williams and whoever else ... i am comfortable with pacman on anisland every play with whoever, yeah he will get beat but there are a select few in the elague who i would trust like that ... if he wasnt on the cowboys iwould feel the same way ...

in closing (lol), CP, when you dont seem to notice corners, they are usually doing their job ... and if you havent said, nice play on his like 16 passdefenses then i guess thats not what youre looking for, forced fumbles, run support ... he has done it all at the corner spot except catch the football lol

I will agree Pac was the best thing you guys had going at corner, but then again...that's not saying much.

JERRY INVESTIGATED AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG?

The investigation that took all of 2 and a half hours? G.T.F.O.H. If you honestly believe Jerry dug deep into this incident, Idon't know what to tell you...
what the hell does GOoDell want him to do? he got into a confrontation ... so be it ... he drank some liquor (if he did) so be it ... 4 games cuz he had a few drinks and started tustlin with his homie ... g t f
Staying away from alcohol related incidences is part of his probation. It was part of his agreement with Goodell upon his reinstatement...

If you can't control yourself when you're drinking, don't drink.
that being said, what does GOoDell expect from Pac?
To not make stupid decisions? Is that really too much for an employer to ask from his employees?

Adam Jones and Chris Henry are the only two idiots that keep having problems with this... Tank Johnson did his suspension, and you haven't heard onesnippet of negative publicity about him since... Wonder why...? Because Tank Johnson gets it. Pacman doesn't.
thats why we got a receiver cuz its not like we are gonna stop anyone ...
eyes.gif
We got the receiver we've been trying to get for over a year now...
So youve never committed a crime in your entire life and youre on a short leash??????
roll.gif
Oh dear lord... How naive can some of you possibly be? Like it's a mystery why Adam Jones is in the situation he's in...

And CP a lot of the issues with pass defense has been the front seven... I've expressed this feeling countless times on here... Thesecondary hasn't played great, but it's unfair to expect that when quarterbacks aren't feeling any pressure... Other than the game in Green Bay,and the second half of the Eagles game, the front seven hasn't created consistent pressure on quarterbacks this year... Sure, Ware has 5 or 6 sacks, but hehasn't dominated football games. He hasn't been making big plays on a consistent basis. Neither have Greg Ellis, Spencer, or the defensive ends... GregEllis even spoke out about it after the game on Sunday... The guys in that front seven aren't happy because they feel they aren't being given a chanceto make plays. They feel like they're being dropped back in coverage too much. They don't feel like the play calling is aggressive enough right now. They want to get after the quarterback, and let the secondary do their jobs, but the defensive schemes haven't been game planned that way one time thisyear... Wade and Brian Stewart aren't attacking quarterbacks like they should be...

When this defense attacks, like they did in Green Bay and in the second half of the Eagles game, we've seen they're capable of being a pretty goodunit... But for whatever reason, they aren't in attack mode very often...
what was the consensus when he came here ... ... ... ill wait ... ... ... that he was average at best at corner and electric on returns ...
laugh.gif
I'm done arguing this with you... If you honestly believe the Cowboys took this chance expecting an average at best CB, you'redelusional...

So you don't think Pacman's long list of legal troubles is enough to justify putting him on a short leash? Really?

The 4 game suspension isn't that bad. I think he can still help us later this season, but if we get that pick back anyways then I mean...goodbyepacman
laugh.gif

i know what the cowboys expected and what i expected, but some people feel that not only wasnt pacman above average at corner from the titans, but to expectthat from him as a cowboy is stupid ... i disagree, i was just commenting on the consensus opinion
We got the receiver we've been trying to get for over a year now...
it had nothing at all to do with our injuries or the pacman loss ... i know i know ... foh
To not make stupid decisions? Is that really too much for an employer to ask from his employees?
actually it is ... in fact if i left work today and had a drink and got into a bar fight, my employer wouldnt even know unless i was jailed ...this goes along with the idea that GOoDell is too worried about old timers opinions than the league in general ... i respect ditka as a player coach and hisfootball opinion is the best on ESPN in my eyes, but i could care less if he feels that TO should shut up and stop acting like usain bolt or pacman should bebanned from the league for partying ... this is the 21st century people drinka nd party and fight, go to college once in a while ...
So you don't think Pacman's long list of legal troubles is enough to justify putting him on a short leash? Really?
with no convictions? NO
