POWER THREAD (Sun., Starz)

Fancy is nice and all that, but I need a scene from Reagon Gomez Preston. That use to be my crush way back then when she played on The Parent Hood. Then she grew up and had a role in that movie "Trois 3 The Escort" and a small part in Love Don't Cost A Thing... oooooo

After that Breakfast Club interview with the creator of Girlfriends, I look at WB and UPN in a different light.

How long ago
I vaguely remember the interview
What was said exactly

It was on Monday. She basically said that those networks use black shows to come up when they're just starting out then as soon as they get a white show to do well, they abandon all the black programming. She was saying how Girlfriends got zero marketing money.

She said Kelsey Grammer's name basically got attached to her show for no reason other than Frazier being successful. Said he had zero input on how to run it. She also said Fox was guilty of it early on as well.

Yup. Same **** happens all the time.

Check out NY Undercovers Unsung episode. Fox did everything possible to disrespect and sabotage that show. The show was a success but Fox dragged their feet giving them a second season. Then after season 2 they forced them to add that white cop cuz Fox thought it would make the show "mainstream" but the chemistry was off so they killed him off. Then they wanted play less hip hop, that didn't work.

And the finale season that nobody remembers looked like this
