POWER THREAD (Sun., Starz)

His acting was whatever. It's just that dumb ***, fake Dominican thing he had going was horrible. Take that away and it would have been fine.

Might be the worst comment I've seen yet:lol:

If you've ever spent a considerable amount of time around dope heads you'd know Kendrick played that roll to a tee.

Who the f is Kendrick going to mentor? These grown *** people and the only kid has a mother, father, grandmother, uncle, aunt, and Kanan:lol:

Show has consistently been doing numbers so I'm not sure it needed K Dot.

The main characters daughter was murdered and you expecting business as usual:lol:
I love the fact that his all his shady behavior is coming back and his world is falling apart.

Nobody believes Riq is gangsta. Homeboy stood and watched his twin sister get murked while hiding, but you want him back on his gangsta tip. Nah he got his *** card pulled bro. This dude barely had the guts to walk out with some sneakers:lol:

Kendrick can huh?

The acting was trash. Worst crackhead I ever seen.

The first Kendrick scene was quality, the second was a bit too much.

I’m not trying to see him be a mentor. That’s not acting.

I hope that lil visit to the church was the last of that. If they make this ***** Ghost a fake reborn Christian or something, then the show is committed to having him be a beta for the remainder of the show

If you watch the after show commentary they said that anyone who was a guest actor would have to play someone completely opposite of themselves. So a mentor wouldn't have fit. They actually asked Kdot what kind of character would people least expect him to be and he jokingly said a crackhead...the rest is history.

Idc what he played, the acting was trash.

You Kendrick Stans are the worst lmao.

A LA cat acting like a NY Dominican.

Yeah that was weak.

Nas acting > Kendrick.

You really think Kendrick didn’t play THAT character well? He made you forget it was even Kendrick Lamar.

In his first time ever acting.

I know you ain’t a theatre major. Cmon g

Stop Talking like you know what goes on in my head. No he didn’t make me forget it was him.

Hop off.

My opinion and I’m sticking to it. Acting was trash, your not gonna change my opinion so move on.

Kanan gettin his Killa Season on with that bike driveby.

Realest **** of the whole season was drunk Ghost telling Dre that he didn't deserve those opportunities. I felt like he was speaking for the audience.

Someone kill Terry god damn. Son walks into the crib with cake and candles like he ain the gay side dude. And was Tasha really gonna invite him to the crib with Tommy there?

Proctor looking real suspect making deals with Angie on the low.

Kendrick played a cool crackhead, but if his character never showed up again, I wouldn't care.

Ghost yelling Dre still moving weight in the party was wild. So nobody heard him?...

Show is becoming more basic each episode but i'm already invested into it

Literally nothing happened the entire episode

He might as well have done a walk by. That was the slowest drive by ever. The italian dude just looked at him. A big *** dude on a girl bike.
Italian dude? I must have missed that scene.
Kendrick's acting > everyone on that show

and I don't care what you guys say, 50 is a good actor compared to some people on that show.

When people ask her who's that. She can literally say, this is my hair dresser. He was terribly miscasted.
Terry just reminds me of some of these Kappa n****s I've come across:lol:
Sweet as booty meat but slip up and they'll smash ya girl

That's bird behavior 101 I believe it

Writing is some of the worst I’ve ever seen ...so Tasha wanted nothing to do with ghost going legit ....but yet was willing to settle down with sean and now the lawyer ????
im sayin
was mad at ghost tryna go legit
then wanted to skip town
and bring the kids
and run off with shawn :rollin
now the lawyer dude :lol

I don't see the point with still trying to keep tariq innocent, away from the game when he legit has a body under his belt.

Tasha worrying about ghost getting help not thinking much on what killing someone does to the psyche of your own son.

Terry the lawyer is irritating as hell. He has mastered the creep look though.

I disagree with some of you all assessment of ghost as far as a character. I feel like omari hardwick and naturi Naughton acting has both leveled up this season and they are personally carrying the show from a acting perspective. As far as how they make dumb decisions, etc as been stated the show is not supposed to do what you think they should do and since season 1, it's the same formula, a bunch of dumb decisions leading to ghost being in over his head and by seasons end him finding a way out of the mess he done made. This season appears no different.

The only huge holes I recognize in this show, and what keeps it a level below others is the dynamic between police and criminals. But the wire had police behind the writing of the show, so that is why that show was more genuine. This show is more genuine of the emotional attachments to characters seeing as the writer is a drama novelist. So she knows how to create a love story, but she weak in the action department. I would recommend getting some law enforcement involved in the writing to get a genuine feel of the moves police make vs how criminals respond.

Kendrick played a great crack head. Should get other roles.

They dragging this dre thing too long. Something needs to happen major on that front because it's losing its impact on the storyline.

So just to recap in my mind, this is what all we have going on

1. Dre pushing work for the Jimenez
2. Jimenez are plotting against each other
3. Tommy owes someone something and needs to kill the Jimenez
4. Ghost needs his business/club etc back from Dre
5. Kanan ultimately wants Tommy & Ghost dead
6. Ghost has the QCP deal he's losing
7. Ghost wants Angela again
8. Ghost has a drinking problem
9. Tommy owes the Italians
10. Teresi is snitching on Tommy
11. Tommy is being tracked by the Feds for something
12. Angela is secretly being investigated
13. Angela is trying to work deals with Proctor/Tommy
14. Angela is working a cover up with Tasha
15. Tasha is popping sleeping pills
16. Tasha taking fault for Ray Ray
17. Tasha and Terry
18. Tariq in another state in school
19. Tariq about to return to the street life
20. Tariq hates his parents and is scheming
21. Angela is still trying to get the Jimenez
22. Dre's #2 has his own gang getting killed (no idea what theyre connection to the grand schrme is anymore)
23. That 718 neck tat gang is still around
24. Whoever Kanan is killing for some reason

Too damn much happening

1. Ghost gets his stuff back
2. Tommy Ghost Kanan get the Jimenez
2a. Get Dre is the process
3. Mok/Saxe w/Teresi
4. QCP with Councilman Tate
5. Somehow wrap up Raina's murder in the next cpl episodes (behind the scenes)

Thats it

Ghost yelling Dre still moving weight in the party was wild. So nobody heard him?...

Show is becoming more basic each episode but i'm already invested into it

Lol at how he, himself a drug dealer just non chalantly snitches him out in front of that crowd.

So crack make dudes become a different nationality? I mean I can get the jibarish talk but taking an entirely different ethnicity, I cant cosign that . Dude said Mama Guevo to a black dude .... he call a black dude Papi Nik a spanish dude. He continued to talk spanish when it wasn't necessary....

LoL

Kanan killin the Spanish gang to plant a seed of distrust between Dre and Cristobal so that him and Tommy can exploit it so take down Dre and the Jimenez.

1. Kill gang members
2. ?
3. Profit
